Clock and Sound Machine Combo with Cool Lights!
I ordered this clock/sound machine to put next to my bed, as I only had a sound machine, but not a clock, and I really liked that it changed colors. Little did I know that when it arrived, my step-daughter would fall in love with it and want it in her room, so I let her have it. It has a nice LCD display for the time, although it could be bigger, especially if it is across the room, it may be difficult to see. It comes with detailed instructions, which are much needed because there are so many buttons on this thing that it can be very confusing to use. I did not find it very intuitive to use and had to keep referring to the instructions to try to figure out what to do. Setting the time was very difficult, unless you download the app that they recommend, and then the time will automatically set. Unfortunately, the only things you can do on the app are things with the time, alarm, and sounds. You cannot change the color with the app. You can change the colors and intensities by tapping or holding the top of the unit. You can also turn off the display this way.It is powered by a USB plug and does not come with the plug that plugs into an outlet, so you either need one of those or a USB outlet. This is not a chargeable product, so it does need to be plugged in to use. And there is no battery backup, so if the power is out, you will not have the alarm working.All in all, for the price of less than $10 at this time, this is a great item for keeping time and/or for using it for the sounds for relaxation and sleep. I only removed a star because to me, it was confusing to figure out how to use it because of all of the buttons and depending on how you press them, and I really did not want to have to download an app for that.
