Seems like it works for improving cleaning, but nothing else
This LEELAI skin scrubber seems like it actually does work to improve your regular facial cleaning routines, but it overpromises on a lot of stuff.The package comes with the scrubber, a rubber protective sleeve that goes over the blade head, a USB cable for charging, and a poorly written instruction manual. You need to provide the wall charger, but you just plug a USB-C cable into the bottom of the device to charge it. It doesn’t take more than an hour to charge and it lasts for quite a few cleanings.To use the scrubber, you hold down the button for 2-3 seconds to turn it on. Then press the button to cycle through the 3 different modes. Each mode has a different cleaning vibration pattern and a different LED light that shines on your face from the base of the blade. The instructions tell you that the red, blue, and green LED lights will do different things – like aid in rejuvenation or block oil secretion. I have to say, I don’t believe that for a second. There is evidence that certain wavelengths of light can stimulate your cells in those ways, but there is no way the weak LED ring light around the base of the blade has enough power to do anything to your skin. When you activate the ultrasonic vibrations, though, the metal blade can assist with cleaning the pores on your face. It seems to work best if your face is wet with a foam cleanser, and then you lightly press the blunt metal blade part against your skin, slowly moving it back and forth over trouble spots. The ultrasonic blasts, along with a foamy cleanser, help clean out pores better than cleanser alone. Think of it as a Sonicare toothbrush, but for your face.There are three different modes to choose from. The manual says they will go from cleaning to blocking oil secretion to toning your face. I don’t believe all that. But it does legitimately seem like it helps with cleaning.The product description also claims it’s water proof, but an IPX5 rating is more like a strong water resistance. It should be able to handle some splashes of water, but you can’t submerge it. I would not take the unit into a shower. This is something to use at the sink with water and cleanser on your face.So as a simple ultrasonic device to help clean your skin? It’s pretty good. But I think it over promises on the waterproofness, and the utility of the LED lights and different sonic vibration modes. If you just think of it as a sonicare toothbrush for your skin and that’s all you need, for the price, it’s still about 4-stars. However, if you think you are getting this miracle device that does several different things, then I think you’ll be disappointed.

I’ve wanted to get one of these ever since I visited an salon a few years ago. So happy I snagged this for review. The manual explains the 3 different modes and the different lights also. I appreciate the explanations because I’m obviously not a professional skin care expert. The power of the vibrations is very light. Not sure why I was expecting it to be stronger. But it works amazing and my skin feels great! Just another self care diy to add to my list of things I can do to save money. It’s nice to pamper yourself once in a while even if you have a strict budget.

Great tool
I originally ordered this for my husband and he used it a few times to apply some serums and moisturizers. I ended up using it more than him with the spatula function to remove embedded blackheads. It works great for that. The tool itself is sturdy and seems well made and is easy to hold and maneuver. It charges quickly and holds the charge for a significant amount of time. Would recommend!
