A reasonable dupe for popular name brand option. I have received great results from this product. My 3 day after 1st treatment, my superficial hyperpigmentation rolled off my skin and my enlarged pores have shrunk considerably. Can’t wait for my next session!

Good introductory microneedle for skin use (or scalp use for me)
I had been doing quite a bit of research on microneedling for hair loss, and while most clinical studies recommend a 0.75mm+ needle for more effective hair loss, I wanted to start with something small since I didn’t know how my skin would react. While most reviews for the product talk about its positive effects on the face, I wanted to share my experiences with use on my scalp as I am also using topical minoxidil for areas on hairline.This Microneedle Derma Roller has 0.25 mm length needles, meaning that it can help absorption of product better in the scalp, but not necessarily evoke growth factors for hair follicle proliferation (which requires 0.75mm length needles). This didn’t bother me, since I wanted to start small and see how I’d tolerate essentially poking holes in my scalp. So far after using this product for about a month already, it hasn’t been incredibly painful on my scalp. I have been doing this about once a week, but not on the same day as the topical minoxidil. So far, I haven’t had any negative reactions towards using the product in combination with the topical minoxidil.In terms of effects on hair loss, adding the microneedling to my once-weekly routine has not caused any extra hair loss, so time will only tell whether or not adding the microneedling will help improve absorption of the minoxidil (and therefore improving any effects from hair loss).Overall, the product was pretty easy to use – the instructions in the manual were a bit confusing to understand (the grammar was a bit off) at first, but after watching other videos online, I was able to figure out how to use the product. One area of concern for me was that in the manual there was supposed to be a section indicating there was supposed to be a seal indicating a QC check to verify the product was working/safely made. However, there wasn’t anything included to verify this QC check was actually done.Also to note, the product is fairly affordable to its well known competitors (Dr. Pen). So, it’s a good introductory pen for those wanting to go into the Microderm space before spending the big bucks on more expensive options.

Absolute GARBAGE!
Upon opening and using it for the first time, the pen only worked intermittently. The little motor would rev high and then almost turn off, repeatedly. I thought perhaps the battery needed a good charge so I charged it overnight. The next day the pen worked even worse. Do not buy, it’s an absolute piece of trash!
