I ordered this because I wanted to be able to soak in a tub of water outside in the summer but I didn’t want to get an actual above ground pool. This inflatable tub to put in the backyard was the easiest way to do that.It came in a pretty compact bag for something this size and didn’t weigh as much as I thought it would. The material feels thick and a little stiff when it’s fully inflated and feels pretty rugged. The walls hold their shape and the whole thing sits fairly solid once it’s pumped up. It’s round so leg room is limited front to back but at 36 inches across there’s plenty of width to sit without feeling like I’m folded into a box.I fill it with hose water and since it’s still early spring out here the water stays around 55 degrees on its own and that’s been a pretty decent plunge temperature for me. It’s cold enough to help improve muscle soreness but not cold enough to hurt. The cover is a little floppy but it does keep debris out between uses. It’s not too tall for me but if my mother uses it I’ll need to get a stool or something to get into it easier.

Great for Recovery but Setup Takes Some Effort
I primarily use this for cold water recovery. After just a few sessions, I could distinctly feel my muscles relaxing much faster, and post-workout soreness was significantly reduced—results that certainly lived up to my expectations. The capacity is ample as well; an adult can sit inside with plenty of room to spare, avoiding any cramped or confined feeling. The oval design is more comfortable than a standard round tub, allowing my legs to extend naturally for a more relaxing soak overall. Its portability is another major plus; it isn’t particularly heavy, making it easy to store and move around. It works equally well indoors or outdoors—sometimes I set it up on the balcony, other times I simply carry it out to the yard—offering great flexibility in usage. The included lid is also a practical feature; when not in use, I can cover the tub to help retain the water temperature slightly and keep out dust and debris, making routine maintenance much easier. Finally, the insulation provided by its inflatable structure is actually better than I anticipated; while it obviously can’t compete with professional-grade equipment, it performs quite impressively for a product in this price range.
