I would seriously give this a prototype of the year award
I never write reviews, and as someone who has an engineering background, this is an amazing product that does exactly what it is supposed to do, with extra features. The humidity immediately goes up when I turn it on, and I confirmed the % levels are accurate with two different higher-end air quality monitors. The wireless connectivity surprisingly works well over public WiFi (just put a zero or multiple zeros for the password and it will work)! The UV light, and the filter are great. The filter is easy to wash and I flip it over so all the trapped bacteria / powder do not accumulate on one side each time. Since it functions like a fancy swamp cooler, you need to have your space closed up so the humidity is trapped in the room. If you leave a window or door open that leads to a larger open space, then it will not work as well which is what I saw someone write about. There is a fundamental difference between an evaporative and ultrasonic humidifier. An ultrasonic humidifier adds moisture to the area radius surrounding the humidifier but only to that area, which is why it works well in an open space but only if the humidifier is near you, the further you are from the humidifier, the weaker the humidifying effect. With an evaporative humidifier, it brings up the humidity by taking in air and pushing out naturally humidified air around the entire room, so the humidity levels are equalized everywhere throughout the space. However, it will not work well or at all when the humidified air can escape from the room. In sum, huge/open spaces will work best close-by with an ultrasonic humidifier with a filtering system. Closed spaces of any size and needing equalized humidity levels will work best with an evaporative humidifier (that’s why most buildings have evaporative-based HVAC systems). The only real issue most people are complaining about is this feels more like a final prototype of a finished product. There were some bugs with the app initially but everything has worked flawlessly. I bought another one for a gift and hope they fix the issue and relaunch this product. The panel on the top is a little flimsy and you have to be delicate with the top part that contains the fan and electronics. The tank part is a separate piece and easy to wash as well.

This was definitely a good buy!
With this dry winter making sleeping miserable (dry throat, dry sinuses crusted with dried blood, headaches!), I went down one heck of a rabbit hole when it comes to humidifiers, trying to find one similar to a model we have for a brand that I can no longer find. On my journey, I learned a few things. First, apparently, it doesn’t matter if you buy a known brand like Honeywell or any of the various unknown brands scattered throughout Amazon, because all misting ultrasonic humidifiers are terrible and will fail, leaking their reservoirs everywhere, ruining people’s furniture, floors, etc. Also, you NEED to use distilled water, or you’ll just make your life even more difficult getting minerals in the air and white powder in the areas where the mist is released, and trying to clean calcification off the internal parts. I learned that “evaporative” humidifiers like this one are better than ultrasonic ones for multiple reasons. One reason is that you can use tap water, saving you $10-$12 a week from not having to buy enough distilled water to operate each night. However, you have to clean them more often. I took a chance with this one, because there weren’t many reviews, but what caught my attention is how easy it is to clean and fill, with no chance of leaking, due to how it’s made. The bottom is essentially a bucket, and the functioning hardware is all in the top half, so cleaning is easy. There’s no tight crevices to navigate around, and the filter is machine washable. SUPER low-maintenance! It was also easy to setup the app, connecting the device to my wifi, and it responds immediately to changing the settings in my phone without any lag. It also does what it’s supposed to, without any mist or nasty residue. There’s a UV light, which if I remember correctly, is supposed to reduce the chance for mold growth. It’s quiet while it runs, like gentle white noise. This was a risk that paid off!

    Good features
The best feature of this humidifier is that there is no white dust left on everything. I live in an extremely cold area of the country and it does prevent bloody noses. That being said, it does not function very well. I bought two of these for my apartment. One works fine and the other one keeps turning itself off. I have to constantly check it to see if its running (despite the “fix-its” in the manual). I will probably end up throwing it out. The humidity level very rarely gets out of the 30 percentages. I don’t know if this is due to the extreme cold outside or not, but that should not make a difference. I don’t know that this is a good value for the money — it has two things going for it(no dust, no bloody noses) and other things going against it.

    Superior idea – Inferior application.
Does not produce enough water droplets into the air to be effective. Simply a small fan that makes noise. This is an excellent idea. There is a severe need for a bedroom evaporative humidifier that puts actual water droplets into the air and not a “cool mist”. Many of the cool mist devices produce mold in the air and carpets, and they drop excessive amounts of moister near the humidifier. As sated this is a superior idea, but an inferior application. Maybe they will increase the fan output and increase the quality of the water vapors provided. Hated to return it, but I could not find any way to increase the water out flow. Hope that helps.

    Nice features, mediocre effectiveness
Lots of cool features, nut overall doesn’t raise humidity levels in a small bedroom that much.PROS:-works with Google Home-can tell you humidity level and temperature of your room-pretty-space efficient-ambient light if you want it-easy to cleanCONS:-I have a small bedroom, and it can get it from about 33% humidity up to about 40%, but not higher than that.-really only “level 1” is usable. level 2-3 is very loud if you’re in the room.-Need to be refilled every 2-3 days.

The product is great but the product details are deceiving ! On Amazon it is advertised as a “Smart” product which can be controlled via an App using blue-tooth or/and WIFI. But this App is not available in Europe!!! So I was /am extremely disappointed and very annoyed!!!

Works Well. Just the Right Size for my Office Nook.I appreciate the rinseable filter.Another great feature for me was the fact that this is truly an evaporative humidifier (it does NOT leave a white dust over everything in your home). It took a while to figure out the instructions for connecting the hygrometer to the evaporator via WiFi/Bluetooth, but I figured it out eventually. Enjoying the technology that lets me control the unit using my cell phone. I also appreciate the reminders to add water and rinse or change the filters.

This compact humidifier works well and is low noise. The app connect is a nice feature as you can easily program and monitor the device with it. Due to the small size the tank needs frequent refills compared to my larger models I am using in other rooms.

This machine stops woking, even in less than a year time. And the APP keeps on having bugs and does not work well. The machine itself, just like another review mentioned, it is just a fan over a tank of water. Very loud noise when turned on, but this can function as white noise for the baby if thinking positively about this product. But the most frustrating issue is that, this one stops working after 6month of use. And within this 6 month, 4 months were summer time, so basically started using this in October/November ish, and now its only December, its already not working.

After having a number of different humidifiers over the last number of years this is the best one. Easy to fill, very quiet, humidity level where it should be.
