Low Battery Alert
The device is equipped with two AAA alkaline batteries, offering a battery life exceeding six months.
Should the device’s battery level become critically low, the app will issue a low battery alert.
Temperature Unit Switching
The device supports switching between Celsius (℃) and Fahrenheit (℉) units. After selecting the desired unit within the app, press the device’s settings button once to confirm the change.
Temperature and Humidity Alarm Settings
Configure your preferred temperature and humidity thresholds. Should environmental readings exceed these limits, the device will trigger an alert.
Download Smart Life or Tuya Smart App
After successful download, register and log in to your account.
Remove the insulating sheet to energise it.
Press the set button for 5 seconds using the pins
Please install the device in a well wifi environment.

Easy setup as long as you follow the directions
I use the sensor to monitor the temperature of my 90+ year old father.Set up was simple after following the instructions. I first tried to set it up about 30 feet away from the wifi router. The tuya app immediately recognized the sensor but couldn’t communicate with wifi. After reading the instructions I deleted the sensor from the app, then moved the sensor near the router. Again, the app recognized the sensor, only this time it connected to wifi without any issues.Relocated the sensor to another room about 30 feet away and it works flawlessly.Nice interface in the Tuya app.Data appears to be accurate.Small enough to be inconspicuous.Good value.

Lots of hoops to jump through.
This is a small thermometer that comes with Celsius installed from the manufacturer. A login to a website will give you access to the smart app. Once installed then you must give permissions to all of your data before you can change Celsius to Fahrenheit. I’m not comfortable with that so this device stays in the fridge with Celsius.
