Helpful for the pregnant
Bought this for my wife to use when she was delivering our first child. She said it was really helpful for relieving the pain from her back labor. Though in the end she did still end up getting an epidural. Item itself is about the size of the iPhone mini and easy to use after a quick read of the instructions.

Lightweight, buttons on Unit work well, rechargeable
I’ve been using this Tens unit for a couple of months now. I play the piano and my hands get sore and hurt after I’ve played the piano for a few hours. This machine helps. It took awhile to figure it out and find the right setting because I’ve never used one of these stimulators before. It does not heal my hands but I do get relief and after some research I understood this. I place one pad on my wrist and one on the pad of my thumb and it seems to work. The instructions are a lot to take in but once you read them they tell you what the settings are. I believe they are written for people who have knowledge about a TENS unit. I would like a chart for what settings are good for different body parts. A better explanation of what TENS, EMS and Relax and how to best use them. I researched which setting was best for hand pain using AI and once I knew the setting looked in the included book to find a match for the Hz and us waveform. It also helps to do your own internet search on how to use them efficiently. This TENS machine also helps relieve some pain in my knees. I’ve been a runner for many years so I like that this stimulator works to manage temporary pain for sore knees too. I’ve researched that this machine, TENS unit is safe and I find it successful in alleviating some of my pain. I do like that it is rechargeable and that the battery lasts through a few treatments and then I can recharge it again. The pads that come with it stick well on my skin and can be used several times. After they stopped sticking well after many uses I kept them in place by using medical grade tape to make them last a little longer. I also purchased more pads for my machine. I have not used the EMS or Muscle stimulator but will probably eventually try it because I’m happy with the pain relief modes. The unit is small, lightweight and I think very helpful for pain management. I’m satisfied with the quality of this product and would recommend it if you are looking for temporary relief from pain.

I would give this 5 stars if I would find the replacement patches. I tried and tried looking for them and I can’t find them. I do want to mention that the product works as advertised. Great quality product for a good price. Just beware that the replacement are not sold on Amazon.

Small, easy to use TENS unit.
This unit actually compares quite well with units I have used during physical therapy. The unit has a good range or power settings and modes. I have used it on my wrist, elbow, back and knees and the therapy is effective. I like that it is rechargeable and I am sure this could be a battery hog on regular batteries. It charges quickly and lasts many treatments on a single charge. It is well constructed and comes with several sizes of pads. The included pads and leads use a standard snap connection on the pad and pads are easily available.

TENS unit for pain relief and more
This is my first TENS unit, and I’m loving it. I woke up with a stiff neck yesterday, so read the basic instructions included and applied the sticky pads to the sides of my neck. There is a little bit of a learning curve, so I watched a few YouTube Videos and just paid attention to how my body was reacting.Essentially, electrical currents pass between the leads, causing the muscles to contract and relax. There’s a whole science behind this which is interesting, but I won’t go into it here. Many people find out about TENS through doctor-prescribed physical therapy.There are so many settings (24) for the TENS function alone, so I went through all 24 and found out 11 and 13 felt the best to me. I alternated between these two settings on level 4 until my unit ran out of juice (took about an hour).One thing I don’t like is that the unit is unuseable while charging. Kind of a pain in the butt if you are in the middle of a session and it conks out. But mine recharged 100% in about an hour, which is reasonable. Love that there are no batteries to buy and that this unit recharges using the same C-type charger my phone uses.But what I like the best is that it works. My neck felt looser and there was definitely less pain. I am doing another session right now and I’m getting more range of motion as the session goes on. It’s great to have this tool available for natural pain relief. I don’t like taking any more ibuprofen than necessary, so this will work fine alone for my minor aches and pains.I also want my dad to try this as he is 88 and has some pretty severe arthritis. I’m going to buy him his own set of pads to he can try it out and see if it helps him.From what I read, how your body reacts to TENS therapy can vary from one person to the next, so the best thing to do is try it and see how your body responds. This unit also has EMS and Relax modes which I’m not really interested in right now, but it’s nice to have options.I wish more pads were sent with the set. You get a total of 8, and each pad can be reused multiple times. Replacement pads are inexpensive and easy to find on Amazon. though. Just make sure you get the snap-on kind.The control functions are intuitive, mostly. I do wish you could change modes without changing the intensity level: changing modes sets you back to zero intensity every time.I’m very enthused about this little machine, and will update this review if my opinion changes as I get to know it better.
