Brand scam and money grabbing
Very expensive inaccurate crippled scaleI bought because the brand name and to get medical level measurements as they advertise it. First of all, the weight changes when you remove the handle. Also, it is not consistent. I measure 3-5 times at the same time and it is completely different each time. Ok add to that the surprise that the app doesn’t produce an inbody printable report, I feel like I am robbed and I contacted their tech support, no answer! Hopefully they can fix it in an update but wow! You spend $500 to get a scale that can’t even do what a similar technology $70 scale can do! I am amazed by how greedy this company is! I am returning it and keeping my $70 scale.

Worth the investment
One of the best investments I’ve made in maintaining/ improving my health. Starting in 2023 I took a GLP-1 for a year to kick start my weight loss but knew that coming off of the drug I would need to really focus on muscle vs body fat composition and this scale takes away all of the guesswork. It helps with workout and meal planning in the app. Is easy to use and like any other tool it’s what you make of it. Highly recommend as we know that weight alone doesn’t tell the full story.

Expansive Inaccurate joke!
Looks like I paid extra for a random machine.Measurements of fat% vary by 3-7 percentages between measurements sperated by minutes.My old Fitbit Arya was lossong wifi reception so thought to upgrade. Feel as if I have been swindled.

I’ve been using the InBody H40 for a few days now, and it’s been a solid upgrade from a basic digital scale.What stands out the most is the level of detail. Instead of just showing weight, it provides body fat percentage, muscle mass, and other metrics that actually help track real progress—not just the number on the scale.The readings are consistent as long as you measure under similar conditions (time of day, hydration, etc.), which is important for any smart scale.The design is also very clean and modern. It feels premium and doesn’t look out of place in a bathroom or bedroom. Setup was straightforward, and syncing with the app was quick. The app itself is easy to navigate and gives a good overview of trends over time.One thing to note: like most body composition scales, it’s best used for tracking changes rather than focusing on absolute numbers. But for that purpose, it works very well.Overall, if you’re looking for a more data-driven way to monitor your fitness or health goals, this is a great option.
