Essential and reliable tool for my Axolotl
I use this every day on my axolotl tank. I will get notified at work if my probe temperature is too high, and I’m able to turn my smart AC thermostat down in my house to help Keep the tank from getting too warm, which would result in my axolotl getting lethargic. It has been very reliable; since I put it up months ago, it has never stopped working. It was very easy to install, fairly priced and appears to be very accurate.

I have just installed one of these and I can already say that there are some good and bad.The bad:Uses AAA batteries (in the description)No USB for powerThe on unit display only shows temp in CelsiusCan set temp alarms, but only 1 for the unit and 1 for the probe.Can set humidity alarm, but only 1 for the unit* Although the pictures show you can set an upper and lower value for the alarms, that isn’t true. You must chose if the alarm is “greater than”, “equal”, or “less than” the value you set and you can only configure one per section (main, probe, humidity)In the app, the “Device Info” shows the “Virtual ID”, the MAC and the external IP but not the device IPThe good:The unit is nice and small and the display on the main unit is easy to read.The unit comes with a magnetic with tape and double sided tape, plus a string for mounting.The unit quickly pairs. Set your phone to connect to the appropriate, open the app, it gets auto-detected (or you can manually connect) via Bluetooth. The app then asks which WIFI that the device should use and the WIFI password. Within a couple minutes it will connect via WIFI and be available in the app.The device properly supports TUYA, and if you want it can use 3rd party smart apps. The jury is still out
I can not find a way to switch to Fahrenheit on the monitor, I didn’t get a the small suction cup for the aquarium use. I believe that I need to subscribe to receive notifications of a water temperature dropping. Because I can not find a way to receive notifications if I don’t. So far I wouldn’t recommend this, was really hoping for a great product. Maybe it’s just the app, I’ll keep trying but if in 30 days this doesn’t pan out it’s going back and I’ll start over.

This is a must have for any Aquarium owner, you can see the live Temperature over WiFi everywhere you are, set alarms if something changes. The app gives you even sms text messages for a small monthly or annually fee.

They read temp, and since they connect to the internet I can check temps from anywhere which is great. But battery life is short, only a couple of months and one of the two units stopped connecting to the internet after only 11 months. Plus some features require a monthly subscription to work.

J’avais peur pour la portée du wifi puisque ma piscine est à quelques dizaines de mètres. Mais ça marche parfaitement.Pour la sonde immergée, la petite ventouse ne marche pas, j’ai dû lester avec un peu de plomb. Par ailleurs, j’ai dû inventer un système pour que la sonde soit protégée de l’eau tout en restant lisible. Elle n’est pas étanche et le câble est court pour une configuration de piscine. Evidemment il faut utiliser l’application spécifique qui est liée à cet équipement.

Livré avec ses piles un bon geste me concernant j’ai beaucoup d’article connecté smart life j’ai le même article que j’ai mis dans mon congélateurCelui-là c’est pour Frigo je demande à Alexa donne-moi la température du frigoIl suffit de se connecter en wifi 2.4gHzPuis appuyer sur le bouton reset une fois le signal wifi clignote smart life l’ajoute automatiquement.Ne testez pas la qualité de réseau il ne le trouve pas c’est juste une option inexistante il fonctionne même à l’intérieur du frigo le seul problème il consomme les piles à cause du signal faible wifi bon moi j’utilise des piles rechargeables.Bonne idée pour le petit écran LED.Il fonctionne parfaitementJe vous laisse découvrir les options pour la notification c’est un service payant bon moi je n’active pas le smart je peu juste définir les limites des températures je serais capable de voir la température en rouge si c’est plus que 8°Je ne veux pas plusJe recommande bien sûr

Parfait !! Je l’ai acheté pour mesure la température de mon aquarium et surtout pour avoir la fonctionnalité d’alarme si la température baisse trop ou monte trop. Perso j’ai réglé une alarme pour la sonde uniquement avec une minimale de 28°c et une maximale de 32°c pour mon aquarium. La température réglée est de 30°c et le thermomètre est très précis, il m’affiche toujours une température entre 29,7°c et 30°c pour une température officielle de 30°c à 30,2°c donc il est très précis, peut être à 0,2 / 0,4°c près si je le compare à mon autre thermomètre en verre à l’intérieur de mon aquarium, les alarmes fonctionnent bien car avant que je mette la sonde dans mon aquarium l’alarme c’est déclenché comme il fait moins de 28°c chez moi 🙂 la température ambiante de la maison et le taux d’humidité fonctionne également parfaitement. Cependant je n’ai pas mis le bout autocollant qu’il fournisse car sinon vous ne pourrez pas changer les piles donc j’y est accroché un fil de fer dans l’encoche en haut du thermomètre pour le mettre sur un crocher au mur 🙂 vous pouvez aussi voir la température sur votre téléphone en temps réel en direct et aussi l’historique des températures sur toutes la journée et nuit et sur les journées précédentes egalement. Vous avez aussi un historique des températures et des alarmes. Et vous avez aussi la température sur le thermomètre lui même en direct et vous avez même le pourcentage de batterie du thermomètre et une alarme quand la batterie est faible. Cela fait 2 / 3 jours que je le test et tout va bien. Il y a même une ventouse inclus pour mettre la sonde dans votre aquarium. (Voir mes photos pour plus de précision) je recommande. J’ai un grand aquarium de 1.000L et le fil du thermomètre fait environ 1m et cela est suffisant, j’ai mis la sonde à l’intérieur sur la vitre de coté droite à environ 15cm de profondeur et j’ai mis le thermomètre / cadran au mur et j’ai encore du mou donc c’est parfait. Piles incluses 🙂 je dois dire que cela est très pratique si comme moi vous souhaitez vérifier la température à distance de votre aquarium quand vous avez des poissons d’eau chaude 🙂
