Smart Bulbs Only Dim with App. Don’t use in fixture with dimmer switch
I specifically read the specs to see if these could be used in my ceiling fixtures with a wall dimmer switch, and it said “Dimmable”, so I thought these would work. The instructions say do NOT use with a dimmer switch. Sigh. I am using them in ceiling spots with no dimmer switch, and I will dim them with the app. I wish the specs had been clearer about this.I like the fact that I can use them with Alexa, and having the different color options, especially several varieties of White (Warm, Cool, Daylight, etc.) is very nice. I am happy with these, but I’m not using them exactly where I’d planned.

Decent bulbs, above average app, works with Google Home
These were a nice addition to my IoT setup. I have a TON of smart devices from different ecosystems, but I use Google Home to control all of them. It is important for whatever smart device I get to easily work with Google Home.These have no problem with that! Linked up my UltraPro account with Google easily and the lights showed up in the app.As for the UltraPro app, I won’t be using it a whole lot, but I would say it is well above average for IoT apps. Very intuitive interface, easy enough for anyone to figure out. Good scheduling features and such. Again, I have it as a formality to do the initial setup on the bulbs, I plan on using Google Home to continue controlling these.I used these two bulbs to replace the 65W bulbs over my fireplace. They worked great! They are nice and bright and provide good brightness control. Colors are pretty close to what the app says, not perfect.For setup, if you end up turning them on and the lights are flickering, you likely have them on a dimmer switch. These lights cannot be used with a dimmer switch, since the switch actually changes the voltage to the bulbs and causes these lights to do the flickering. Will probably mess with WiFi functionality as well. You will need to remove the dimmer switch and install a normal throw type switch.Overall, I’m satisfied with these bulbs as an addition to my Google Home setup. I would recommend them if you need some replacement bulbs similar to these!

Good quality light, not easy to set up with app
With everything being “smart” nowadays, I thought I’d give these light bulbs a try. They seem pretty durable and screw in like traditional light bulbs. I installed them and followed the directions exactly, but I can’t get them added to the app. I have gone through the process 3 times with no luck. I like them as the soft white color they are naturally, but wanted to check out the other colors and features. I am going to keep trying to get them up and running on app and will update this review if I am successful.

Flicker with a Dimmer!! 🙁
I grabbed these because they say Dimmable. I have a dimmer switch for the flush mount above the kitchen sink. The light flickered constantly only when used on the dimmer switch.It’s a solid nice light in lamps or non-dimmable sockets. But I got it to save money with LEDs & have a nice dimmed nighttime color since we leave the normal lightbulb dimmed for late night visibility.I’m bummed about it. I can’t bring myself to leave more than 1 star since it doesn’t function for the stated purpose I ordered them for.Have a wonderful day. Thank you.

Smart Bulbs
These bulbs are quick and easy to setup. I had never tried the Ultra Pro app, but I was able to set it up with my Apple ID and then added the skill in Alexa to have it up in running in a few minutes. You turn the light switch on 5 times in a row until it starts blinking, and the app immediately recognizes it.It can be set to multiple colors at different intensities/brightness manually in the app or by voice command. I prefer daylight lights, and the white setting on this light is super bright.I’m using to add easily controlled overhead lighting in my closet office as well as in my bathroom. In my bathroom I have it set to a lower intensity at night so that the brightness doesn’t temporarily blind me when I turn the light on in the middle of the night.These bulbs are larger than a normal bulb, but they otherwise work the same. They just looks larger in the light socket, which I prefer in my bathroom. I think the larger light also looks better in my closet since it’s a standalone bulb with no light fixture.
