I’m shocked that I think it works! I’ve slept better every night this week. Fell asleep faster and woke up more refreshed.I’m giving it four stars for two reasons. It has a BRIGHT light when it’s on. I sleep with a sleep mask so it’s not as a big a problem for me.Second reason is that it needs a strap to keep it on your hand as you are falling asleep. Tonight I think I’m going to use a crochet band to keep it on.It’s one of the most unusual purchases I’ve ever made and I was pleasantly surprised.Good price point too. Which is the main reason that I’m writing a review and recommending it

Look, this thing works. I’m doing EMDR and it’s glorious. I took a flyer on this for $17. Helps me fall asleep and keeps me going during the day. I now have 8 medical people using them for energy while they drive to work at stupid hours. Get it. I now have 2 so there’s always one in my car.

Cheap feeling, worked fine at first, but the battery refused to hold a charge after 3 weeks.
Item worked well for about 1 month until the battery failed. Now, it’ll only work for around 30s to 1 minute before shutting off and refusing to turn back on until charged again.For the brief time it worked, I think it helped with sleep somewhat. It is simple to use, however, the buttons sit right where my fingers wrap across it, so it’s easy to accidentally bump the intensity buttons or the mode button. They should be repositioned or made to require a firmer touch to activate so as to avoid accidental button presses. The whole device is made out of lightweight plastic and has a cheap look and feel to it. If I replace it, I’ll spend a few more dollars to get different brand that is of better quality.I have seen several reviews saying they don’t feel anything even on the highest setting. Assuming theirs didn’t arrive broken, they likely have very dry skin. The pulses of electrical current conduct better if your palm is slightly moist. Not wet, mind you, just slightly damp. Simply breathing your moist breath onto your palm before lightly gripping the device and pressing the electrodes against your palm will help ensure good contact with the skin.

I bough this on a whim. But its been one of the best gadgets! I really does calm me down to fall asleep. It is worth a try if you have anxiety.
