Instead of the traditional gliding “hashtag” technique (vertical, horizontal, diagonal passes) with a pen vibrating 80–150 times per second, this device is simply a stamping motion. That alone makes it way more approachable for at-home use.Another big difference is comfort—when I use a professional microneedling pen, I typically need to numb my face with lidocaine beforehand due to the intensity. With this stamper, I didn’t feel the need to numb at all, which makes it much more convenient for frequent use.What I really like is that I can use this 2 times per week with a serum, whereas with a professional microneedling pen, I usually space treatments out about a 3-6 weeks apart due to intensity. This feels like a great in-between option for maintenance.One thing to note—the serum chamber isn’t as practical as it sounds. You definitely cannot use a thick serum; it has to be something very watery (similar to plasma) to flow through properly. Even then, you have to pump it a few times before it starts dispensing, and when it does, it tends to come out in drips and can run down your face. Also, the chamber is way too big—there’s no way you’re realistically using 5 mL on your face unless you’re treating a larger body area. I’ve found it much easier to just apply a few drops of serum directly onto my skin and stamp over it, adding more as needed.I know it’s labeled as single-use, but I’ve personally used mine about three times. I want to be very clear that I am NOT recommending or advising reuse—I am simply sharing what I chose to do personally, understanding the risks, since this is intended to be a one-time-use device.Proper cleaning is key:• I rinse the serum chamber and dry itwith a Q-tip• I also use a dampened Q-tip insidethe needle head (where the serumflows through), followed by a clean,dry Q-tip• For the needle head, I turn the dial tothe highest setting (so needles arefully extended), rinse with alcohol, mthen soak the head overnight inalcohol• The next day, I let it air dry brieflybefore retracting the needles andwiping the head with a paper towelThat said, I wouldn’t reuse it indefinitely—the needles will dull over time, and hygiene is critical.A few important notes:• Do not use on active breakouts• Do not reuse if you’ve used it duringa breakout (risk of spreadingbacteria)Post-use, I had mild redness that resolved by the next day—very manageable downtime. I’m mainly using this for preventing tech lines on my neck and minimizing pores, and so far, I’m really happy with it as a maintenance tool between professional treatments.Overall, this is a solid, practical option if you understand proper technique and hygiene. Not a replacement for in-clinic microneedling, but a great adjunct.

Some reviewers have complained about the reservoir being too large or the needles too long. Well, you can fill the reservoir as full as you would like it to be filled. You don’t have to fill it the entire way and the needle length is fully adjustable. The top rotates, and there is a clearly marked scale on the device, indicating the needle length. I didn’t bother with the reservoir. I used a thicker serum directly on the skin. This was absolutely perfect. I know it is marked as a single use, but I am going to try to sterilize it so it can be reused. Otherwise I’ll be buying more.
