What a great idea this company has! We try so hard in our house to eliminate micro plastics and this travel cup is perfect! You won’t have to worry about drinking anything but your beverage with this. It keeps cold drinks cold for a long time and hot drinks hot. The added temperature window is an added benefit as it tells if your hot drinks are too hot to consume. The cup is extremely durable as has held up to several accidental drops. It is perfect for travel, not too large to handle. Clean up is a breeze, we rinse and wash with warm water. If you are as passionate as we are about micro plastics, then this bottle is so worth the cost for some peace of mind.

Doesn’t keep hot beverages hot
Pointless temp indicator on top. Lithium battery so the whole thing is not dishwasher safe. Small capacity. Barely keeps your coffee warm for an hour. I don’t know how it performs with cold beverages. It is airtight with the top closed. I dropped it several times with no spillage. Too much of a hassle to return so I threw it away.

Close, but needs improvements
Almost there.We have lots of mixed thoughts on this bottle.The positives it’s a nice size for tease and other drinks that I don’t wanna massive quantity of. It seems the whole temperature fairly well.Now the not so positives.*It only shows temperature Only in Celsius. We did not see that indicated anywhere. To way to switch it noted.*Filter. It sits above the water lever. So it is good for pour over. I think it is more efficient to put your tea in the main compartment and use to filter to separate the tea or coffee grinds/leaves while drinking.*no noted way to replace the battery. So the temperature function wouldn’t work after the battery died, considering the lid is plastic, kind of goes against the bottle’s motto.*something in the lid is rattling.We liked the concept of this bottle. But there is still a lot to be improved on.

Not Very Useful, Odd Scent Lingers, No Fahrenheit Option
Not really what I was expecting. My bottle arrived in a very generic box, without an instruction manual. As far as I can tell, there is no way to change the display from degrees Celsius to Fahrenheit, which makes use slightly less convenient for anyone who isn’t familiar with Centigrade measurements.The design of the bottle is decent, though it is unclear what the enclosed strainer on the top of the unit does. Is it for straining tea? Keeping solids from touching the sensor? Your guess is as good as mine, as there is nothing on the box to indicate the function of this particular piece.The outside of the box indicates that the unit is ideal for basically room temperature or cool water. It suggests (but does not forbid explicitly) that consumers avoid filling the unit with anything hot. Which means that coffee or tea really shouldn’t be used in this temperature sensing bottle.My unit arrived with a few small dings/defects on the white enamel surface. Small bits of the underlying stainless steel body are exposed, which isn’t the quality standard for a new product.It isn’t clear how this product helps keep microplastics out of the environment. I was expecting an interesting brand backstory, and some kind of statistics about “number of plastic coffee lids saved by using this product for a month/year” or something to that effect.The package boasts that the design is extra wide for easy cleaning. It is smaller than most standard double walled temperature controlled water bottles and/or coffee cups.I bought this to keep water cool next to my bed for easy nighttime refills. It took a long time to register the temperature of the bottle contents, and didn’t keep my refrigerated water cool overnight. Getting the digital display to activate is somewhat tricky because screen tapping, picking up, tipping or even opening the product all produce inconsistent display activation results.This product would benefit from added features to enhance the portability of the bottle. As designed, it’s hard to hold (no grip), and annoying to use for direct consumption. It’s better as a carrying container from which one might serve liquids into more drinkable containers. The mesh basket gets in the way when drinking. I’m not sure if it can be removed from the unit or if it has a function.After using for a few days, there is still an odd scent in the unit. It isn’t like a chemical scent, but more like the scent of rubber from the seal/stopper or maybe silicone. I tried to rehash but the scent lingers.

I saw another review said the Rage Against Microplastics container came with a tea strainer. That’s the reason I got it and indeed it comes with one. The holes are a bit large, a common problem with tea strainers. So you have to use a tea with larger leaves, none of this powder stuff. Even still, some leaves will get through. It’s better than using a teaball, where leaves still get through, but you also lose heat out the top of the teacup.It’s pretty good about retaining warmth. With hot water inside it does not feel warm on the outside. It seems to drop about one degree Celsius per hour.The thermometer in the cap is not great. I had to hold the bottle upside down to get the temperature of the liquid inside. Even then it is off between 7 and 10 degrees Celsius (13 to 18 degrees Fahrenheit ) depending on the temperature of the liquid inside. The hotter it is the less accurate it is.The bottle is kind of narrow. If you put anything sticky in it, it would require a bottle brush to clean out the bottom. I just planned to put tea and water in it, so that won’t be a big issue for me.Not relevant to its function, but when you tap the side of the container, the vibration has a pleasant tone and feel.

Love everything about this
This is the perfect little water bottle for people like me that don’t like the feel and challenge of using water bottles with built-in straws. I love the built-in thermometer in the cap, which gives me an instant read on if my water has warmed up too much to be refreshing. The look and color is really nice as well, and I’m happy to advertise to the world that I’m working on eliminating plastics — at least from my drinkware!
