Create a warm, relaxing atmosphere!
This red night light looks beautiful in my bedroom. The soft 360 degree light creates a warm, relaxing atmosphere that helps me fall asleep more easily. It’s gentle enough not to strain my eyes, but it also doesn’t startle me awake. The remote control is convenient to use. I can adjust the brightness or set a timer without having to get out of bed. The touch controls are also responsive and easy to use. I like using the dimmable mode, especially when I only need a little dim light late at night without waking me up completely. I can set a timer based on my needs, and it will automatically turn off when I fall asleep, keeping the bedroom dark and quiet. However, the lamp isn’t as sturdy as I expected; it’s a bit lightweight, but still good.

Neat, small pure red light lamp with brightness & auto-off options & a remote control.
BoRccdit 670nm Red Light for Sleep, 100% Blue Light Blocking, 360° Red Night Light Lamp with Remote & Touch Control, Dimmable, 4 Timers—I’m not going to say much about the promoted application of this product. In essence, this red light lamp is being marketed as a way of helping people to decrease exposure to blue light wavelengths before sleep. Perhaps it’s of some value in that way if it gets you to turn off your screens before sleep and reduce bright light exposure. Certainly, red light is useful for preserving night adapted vision, so that’s another potential use for this lamp. The focus of my review will be on the quality of the lamp.I don’t have the means to measure the wavelength of light produced, so I don’t know if it’s truly putting out pure 670 nm red light. But it is an appealing solid deep red color. At the maximum brightness setting it is quite bright. You could read by it if you were close enough. It probably won’t replace a bedside reading lamp for extended reading, but I haven’t tried it for that. The lamp comes with a remote that allows you to turn the light on and off, change the brightness and select a timer (30, 60, 90 or 120 minutes). You can also turn it on and off and change the brightness with a touch control switch on the top of the lamp. There is also a On/Off toggle switch on the base so you can prevent it from accidentally getting switched on (or off). The touch control seems very sensitive—I keep finding the lamp on when I didn’t intend it to be. The lamp runs off a rechargeable battery with a USB-C charging port. Note that the remote control uses a old-fashioned alkaline button cell (CR2025).The sellers double down on promoting its use for minimizing screen exposure by providing a totally analog method of logging you and your family’s efforts to achieve a blue-light free period before bed: they include, on the same small piece of paper as the manual, a little pre-printed calendar with check boxes for Days 1-21 of “6-step Ritual Completed” (the ritual entails gathering your clan, dimming the lights, “activating” the red light, putting the remote is a safe place, stowing screen devices and then setting the red light timer (probably it would be better to do this before putting away the remote?). Apparently, if you complete this successfully (don’t cheat!) the company will send you a “free $20 Faraday Pouch” to block phone signals. Maybe I missed it, but I didn’t find any contact information to use for claiming this reward.Marketing gimmicks aside, this is a well-designed red light lamp. It’s a compact lamp in a pleasant dome shape. When I ordered, it was $11, a good value. However you wish to employ the red light this lamp produces, it does a good job of providing it with flexible brightness and duration. In my last 3 photos I attempt to show it on maximum, 50% and minimum brightness, but brightness doesn’t translate well from human vision to camera. You can mainly see the difference in the light reflected on the surface it’s sitting on. In real life, the perceptual difference is much greater!

Very Calming little red light – glow fills up a room
I have a lot of trouble sleeping, but I don’t do well with medicines to help. Even melatonin doesn’t work well with me. So I thought I would try this little light. The light is easy to charge and lasts a decent amount of time. It comes with a remote that you can set a timer on, as well as control how bright it is.When it is just plugged in to charge, it gives off a very dim red light. When it is at 100%, the red glow easily fills up a room. At 50% it still reaches a good portion of the room, but isn’t nearly as bright. I like to leave it on 50%.I find the light to be relaxing. I try to put away all my other blue light devices and just allow the red light to calm me to sleep.I have been falling asleep faster and sleeping better since I started using this. I use a ring to track my sleep and even it has shown better sleep quality on nights that I use this.Overall, I am very happy with this light. It seems to be helping me. Time will tell if that effect lasts or not or I just get used to it and to back to my old patterns.

Small red night light with touch control that fits perfectly on a nightstand
I ordered this BoRccdit red sleep light to keep next to me on my nightstand, and it turned out to be exactly what I wanted. The lamp is very compact at about 3 inches deep by 4 inches wide, so it fits perfectly on my nightstand without crowding out anything important. I really like the small size because it sits right beside my bed and I do not have to worry about knocking it to the floor when I am half asleep reaching for something. The most important feature for me is the lighting itself. This lamp uses a true 670nm red light that blocks blue light completely. It avoids the unnecessary blue wavelengths often found in standard red LEDs and is designed to support natural melatonin production. According to the listing, this type of red light creates a calmer bedtime environment that may help you fall asleep more easily. The red glow is very attractive and calming in my room. It creates a soft and relaxing atmosphere instead of the harsh brightness that many nightlights have. The 360° light design spreads the glow evenly without glare. I also like the touch control on the top of the lamp. It is easy to find and tap without looking directly at it, which is perfect when you are already in bed and the room is dark. The remote control and timer options are also convenient if you want the light to turn off automatically after you fall asleep. For the price, this light is very reasonably priced. It works well for my needs, and I will likely pick up a few more for other rooms in the house. This small red night light is exactly what I wanted for a simple and relaxing nightstand setup. Highly Recommended!
