These ultra-sharp blades are sterile, and individually wrapped. The tip is rounded for ideal application in dermaplaning and removal of the peach fuzz that is notorious for dulling facial features. When used as directed, a cleaner glow of the face yields almost immediate results. Proper use, handling and care is highly needed, as the blades are incredibly sharp, and requires proper disposal after each use. About the Swann Morton Blade Remover/Sharps Container: This sharps container for the scalpel blade has 2 uses. – Removal of blade directly off the scalpel. – Storage of used used blades / Sharps container To remove blades from scalpel handle*, simply put the blade in the open receptacle and push down on the plastic handle of the teal box. Blade holder/sharps box can hold approximately 100 blades, and can be disposed after filling with used blades. About the Twain & Moss Kelly Hemostat This hemostat is used by physicians and professionals in aiding the attachment of the blade to the blade handle*, without touching the blade with bare hands, which could be very dangerous to handle and add the risk of being soiled with oils & bacteria from handling. Proper cleaning of the hemostat is recommended between uses. *Scalpel handles are available separately. The No3 Swann Morton Handle is pictured for reference.
