Satisfying in a way I didn’t expect
The instructions are there. I read them. I still stood in my bathroom holding a spatula not entirely sure which ion was doing what to my face or why.That’s not a dealbreaker, it’s just the reality. YouTube tutorials are the actual instructions for this thing. Ten minutes of watching someone else use it told me more than the pamphlet did. If you’re the type who skips the manual anyway, you’ll be fine. If you need things spelled out clearly before you start, just go straight to the videos.Once I figured out the modes, it clicked.The cleaning and Ion Plus mode is where the visible results happen. Buildup comes off, pores look noticeably cleaner afterward. But there’s a catch if your skin is on the drier side or you go in cold, it’s not going to do much. Steam your face first. Open those pores up. That step makes the difference and actually seeing something come off the spatula, which is disgusting and deeply satisfying in equal measure.Ion Minus is the quieter mode but I notice it. Serums sink in faster, skin feels smoother. It’s not dramatic but it’s real. The lifting mode is more of a treat ,gentle, relaxing, and my face does look a little firmer after. Whether that’s science or placebo I genuinely cannot tell you. Either way I’ll take it.The charging situation is flexible, base or USB cable, your choice. The LED screen shows battery and mode clearly so you’re never guessing where you are mid-session.The build feels solid. Not cheap, not hollow, not the kind of thing that feels like it’ll stop charging after three weeks. It has some weight to it, the kind that makes you think it was made to actually last. For what you’re getting ,four modes, flexible charging, an LED screen that actually tells you what’s happening the price makes sense. This is the kind of tool that is so effective that it earns a spot on the bathroom shelf instead of ending up in a drawer.

Odd functionality but could potentially work when used correctly
I got this for my partner who is always touching her face and has the worst habit of plucking at her blackheads. Due to the nature of this spatula styled blackhead remover, I was intrigued at it since we are used to the circular round sticks which we apply force to the blackhead in order for it to come out. In terms of functionality and usage, it isn’t difficult to use but it is odd and not something she was accustomed to. The vibration seemed kind of out of place but could potentially be seen as soothing across the face? It could also be that she was using it wrong but I didn’t see how it would’ve worked regardless. In terms of using it to apply pressure against the blackhead and removing it that way, it does work when angling it correctly.

Not One of My Favorites for Skin Care
Unfortunately, I am not a fan of the Face Spatula Blackhead Remover. The device comes packaged well. I was able to figure out how to use the spatula on my own, as the instructions were terrible. It was easy to charge. I tried the spatula with and without the vibrations. Without the vibrations, I was able to get some oil out of my skin, but I felt like I was just pushing oil and gunk around on my face, making more potential blocked pores and therefore not being effective. I did not enjoy the vibrations at all. They made me feel uncomfortable and uneasy.I very much prefer the blackhead vacuums to the spatula device.
