My first FDA Cleared LED light therapy mask
This is the first light therapy mask I’ve ever tried. In fact, I haven’t even read much about them. But when I had the opportunity to try this one out, I was excited. And I can say, I am very happy with the experience so far.At 55, I’m finally able to prioritize self-care and skincare. Yep. It’s a little late, but it is what it is. Fortunately, I don’t have acne, so I’m just focused on wrinkles. There’s only so much the Blur setting on Zoom can do for me, and there is no Blur setting in real-life, so light therapy it is.No matter how much my aging face annoys me, I’m likely never going to go the surgery or Botox route, so I’m hoping at-home therapies like this will make a difference.I like that this particular light therapy mask is flexible and easy to use at home. I can’t see myself traveling with it, but I suppose that is another benefit to this style of mask versus the ones that are hard plastic. And I like that I can still read or watch TV while using it. It’s wireless, so I’m not tethered to an outlet or charging cable.I’ve used this LED face mask a few times now. The built-in timer is supposed to auto-shut off after 10 minutes, but mine seems to be off—it actually turns off after about 15 minutes instead.On a positive note, this mask is FDA-cleared, and I really appreciate that the seller listed the specific FDA approval number: K243555 right on the product page. It makes the product feel much more legitimate and trustworthy.I like that it came with eye shields to protect my eyes.
