Convenient and easy to use
It would be nice to have a sauna, but we don’t have any place to put one and those tent style saunas are ugly, and who wants to assemble and disassemble one of those every time you want to use it? Until I saw this sauna blanket I wasn’t aware these things even existed, and it seemed like a good idea. My wife said she’s probably use it, so I ordered it. And I’m obligated to provide an honest review, which I can’t do without actually using the product.Now to be completely honest, I had a bit of trepidation sandwiching myself between two pieces of plastic with heating elements connected to line voltage, from an unpronounceable chinese alphabet soup company with no identifying information whatsoever. There’s a bunch of icons on the back page of the manual like FCC, CE, ROHS, etc. but I think it’s safe to say that this thing doesn’t have any safety certifications whatsoever.I inspected the interior thoroughly as well as all the wiring and did not find any reason for concern, so in I went. The manual recommends wearing “loose sauna clothes” but whatever that is, I don’t have them. Every time I’ve been in a sauna, all anyone was wearing was a towel. I put two large bath towels inside, zipped up and turned it on.I have to say, it was very relaxing and I actually fell asleep for a bit. I set the timer for 20 minutes and it worked as expected. The remote control is pretty basic and a bit clunky, but it’s simple to operate. The heat that is produced seemed to be spread evenly over the entire surface.There are five “detox wraps” included, with no instructions. Obviously you’re supposed to put yourself inside, but I’m not sure what the benefit is. No doubt they’re a one-time use thing, but they’re not offered in the “RRGFB” 🙄store.Couple of things that could be better: the control box is big and clunky and made of hard plastic. As soon as I got into the blanket and zipped myself in, it fell on the floor and I’m surprised it didn’t crack. A pocket for the remote would be nice, or at least some velcro to keep it on top while you’re inside (I will do that myself). Also, there are no zippered arm holes even though they are shown in some of the photos.There’s a plasticky smell that will probably go away in time. It’s not strong or offensive. Don’t be fooled by the “PL Leather” thing, BTW. Polyurethane is plastic.The included storage bag is nice (except for the obnoxious RRGFB on the front) and folding and storing the blanket after use wasn’t difficult although it does fit snugly in the bag.Overall it was a pleasant and largely positive experience. I do wish however that it was UL listed. This is something that operates at line voltage and is in very close proximity to your body. It should go without saying but don’t wear anything when using this that could puncture or rip the plastic, and always inspect the interior for wear and rips before using.Bottom line, it’s a viable alternative to larger saunas but a bit overpriced in comparison to other similar products.

The strength of the heat level of this blanket is surprisingly strong and evenly distributed. The reflective wrapper it comes with makes it easy to use and mess free. I definitely recommend this.

Nicely weighted sauna blanket. Great infrared lighting helps with the treatment and without all the heat and steam. I love that this is the most portable sauna blanket I have seen to date. My wife and I take this on our vacations when we go, so that we can still get our sessions in, whether before or after our important meetings, fun times or just because. Really works well. Loving it and the ease in which it functions. I definitely recommend this to everyone.

I was a little unsure about this at first but my friend talked me into it. I’m glad she did. It might look a little scary but it is easy to use. It easily fits an average size person. It’s easy to zip and unzip. It’s easy to carry to different areas and pack away. It’s water resistant. It only takes a few minutes to heat up. This was such a great buy.
