This scale is accurate, easy to pair and I am happy with it with one exception.I track my weight and my blood pressure in the Omron app. I have been using the bp monitor for several years. I decided I wanted to track my weight the same way. The only issue I have is my bp monitor has two separate channels so my wife can use it right before or after me and hers does not transfer to my app.The scale however transfers her weight into my app which throughs my information off. I can’t find a way to keep this from happening so she uses a separate scale. Not as convenient but a simple workaround.

Why no Backlight?
It’s a pretty basic scale, which is exactly what I was looking for. The Bluetooth functionality is a bonus, which ended up being a big plus as the scale is lacking one major feature…no backlight. This is an issue as the only place I could put the scale isn’t well-lit. I can barely read the scale while standing on it; I have to go to the app to see what the weight was.

Easy to use and accurate
This is built really well considering the top plate is glass. Quick and accurate weight, even though I’m over 65 and find it difficult to hold perfectly still. Totally priceless is not having to transcribe the reading into my app. Just a hit of a button in their app and the reading is loaded, most of the time it has already been done automatically.

Save yourself a headache, don’t purchase.
TL;DR – don’t buy. This scale will have you gaining and losing almost 2lbs in the span of one minute; very inconsistent measurements.I purchased this for my elderly mother, the brand has been reliable with her blood pressure cuff. Their more high tech scale was inconsistent with syncing to the app – a feature that is needed due to my mother’s low vision and also gave more data than what she needed. I decided to try another model by the same brand because this one was a very basic model and for the sake of continuity having BP cuff and scale sync to the same app. However this model gave inconsistent and inaccurate weight measures, 4 back-to-back readings were all different. The differences ranging from .8lb to 1.8lb, these might not seem like much but, these are big differences when you are needing to monitor weight daily for medical reasons.

Great product except that app in Singapore does not work for this model. SC-150 is US model and does not show up in the list inside the app. So a little disappointed.
