How To Use
Extract Mode
1. Prep: Extract mode must be used on clean, damp skin to be effective. Dampen the skin with water or a gentle toner prior to use. Reapply as needed throughout the treatment. Select Extract Mode by pressing the power button once. You will hear a high-frequency hum, signaling that the mode is active. Ensure the spatula’s curved side is angled downward for proper use.
2. Extract: Gently glide the spatula over your skin using little to no pressure; the device is designed to do the work for you. A fine mist may appear, indicating the Extract mode is functioning properly. For areas more prone to congestion or blemishes, such as the nose, chin, and forehead, it may be beneficial to make multiple passes with the Extract mode to achieve optimal results. Extract mode can be used 1-2x/week. For more stubborn blemishes use the PreciseXtractor feature to physically extract. Flip the device and center the blemish within the circle, pressing down gently to release debris.
Infuse Mode
1. Prep: Apply your favorite serum or moisturizer evenly across the face. Select Infuse mode by pressing the power button twice. You will hear a high-frequency pulse, signaling the mode is active. Ensure the spatula’s curved side is angled upwards.
2. Infuse: Gently press and glide the spatula over the skin in an upward and outward sweeping motion. This helps the positive ions to push the product deeper into the skin, enhancing absorption. Infuse mode can be used daily, morning and night.
Lift Mode
1. Prep: Lift mode requires moisturized skin to effectively lift and tone. Either use Lift mode immediately following Infuse mode or apply a light layer of toner or serum across the face. Select Lift mode by pressing the power button three times. You will hear a high-frequency pulse, signaling the mode is active. Ensure the spatula’s curved side is angled upwards. Same as Infuse mode.
2. Lift: Glide the device gently upward along your face’s contours, focusing on areas like the jawline, cheekbones, and forehead to lift and tone. If you experience any pulling or tugging, your skin may need more serum or toner to ensure a smooth glide. Reapply as necessary. For optimal lifting effects, make sure your grip securely contacts both touch points on the sides of the device. This establishes a complete pathway, facilitating a steady flow of frequency for effective stimulation. Lift mode can be used daily, morning and night.
Extract
Extract mode uses negative ions that help lift debris, dead skin, and sebum out of the pores.
Infuse
Infuse mode uses positive ions that split skincare into smaller molecules. This allows skincare to be more easily absorbed into the skin.
Lift
Lift mode uses E-Wave Technology, helping to give a more toned and youthful appearance.
PreciseXtractor
Paired with Extract, PreciseXtractor helps to remove blackheads and whiteheads.

I rarely write reviews, but the PMD Wave Pro absolutely deserves one. From the very first use, I was amazed at how big of a difference it made in just a short session. I’ve always been bothered by the pores on my nose, and nothing has ever cleaned them out quite like this. Honestly, I was a little shocked (and even slightly grossed out) by how much came out the first time, but that quickly turned into pure appreciation. My skin felt fresh, smooth, and so much cleaner than I expected after just one use.What I also love is how comfortable the device feels in my hand—it’s sleek, lightweight, and really intuitive to use. The three settings make it easy to customize for what my skin needs that day, and the whole process feels like I’m giving myself a luxury spa treatment without leaving home. Cleanup is simple, too, which makes it that much easier to make this a regular part of my routine.I’m planning to use this daily, and I honestly look forward to it. A mini professional facial at home
I recently got the PMD Wave Pro and it honestly feels like a mini professional facial at home. I love that one device has three different modes. Infuse Mode is my favorite — I’ve been using it almost every day to apply my serum and it helps everything absorb so much better. Extract and Lift Mode feel amazing and are perfect for a weekly reset. The whole experience is so soothing and luxurious, and even after the first use my skin felt more clean and smooth. I’m excited to keep using it!

This is one of the best skin spatulas I’ve tried. I’ve used a few other ones and the quality hasn’t been that good and it doesn’t seem to get as much out of my skin.I like the sleek design and how it fits in your hand while you use it. I don’t really use the infuse or lift mode— the extraction is my favorite and the main reason I bought it. Sometimes a higher price means a better outcome and I definitely found that to be true with this device.Remember to use this on damp skin for best results and smoother application of the device. The gunk that comes out immediately is insane. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking to get a skincare device that extracts.

3.5 Stars not really worth it
I have a lot of skin care products and devices. I often promise myself that it’s it, much of them don’t work. In fact, I have found items that really do work, but I should be able to discern which ones will likely work by now, or not.Still, I succumb to ads and hype. And, really, I usually regret it. This one falls into that category. I’m sorry i ordered it, and I might use it once or twice again, to see if I’ve changed my mind on it, but it will probably stay in my very own Island of Misfit Skin Care Device closet, which is actually made up of two 72″ tall enclosed shelves. No kidding.I’ve used this over a few days. It says use the extraction feature only once per week. That was the reason I ordered it, so I obviously want to see the results with that the most. I followed directions (which were mostly clear, but do I need to put my fingers on the metal side finger plates? I don’t know, because it didn’t mention that in the directions. I did though, since they existed. I tried it both ways.) Nothing came out of my pores. Nothing. My pores are pretty clear, because I use skin care products that do work, and I try to keep my skin really clear. Still, when I use my magnifying mirror, I can see which pores are clogged and which are clear. I can extract without the tool– and found that any extracting I do is more successful than this tool.Still, I couldn’t believe it didn’t work at all. I did it again. Same result. I saw the mist of water spray, I knew it was working. I could feel tingling, since my fingers were on those plates I mentioned above. Nothing, though. So, I tried again. Finally the third time, some stuff came out of the sides of my nose. Not a lot, though. Really, the smallest amount– it really makes no sense for me to take out this tool when I get better results with my stainless steel skin tool set.I tested the two other settings, too– the lifting setting. I have a NuFace Trinity (my second one since I got rid of the first one then regretted it and re-purchased which was so stupid. It works, but not that much!) This isn’t as effective as the NuFace, but the PMD is so much cheaper, it might be worth it for that.FInally the infusion setting. I tried that, and really doubt it’s effectiveness. I wouldn’t have bought this for that feature. I have other products that supposedly infuse (I have several Microneedling pens that also have non-invasive tips used for infusion), and rarely use them because I see no real difference and have limited time to spend on these sorts of things.So, I wouldn’t recommend this. In fact, about a year ago, I did pick up a similar but no-name brand skin spatula that only extracted. I stopped using it, but I think it worked better than this one. I remember actually seeing it extract whatever was in my pores. That was under twenty bucks, too.In case you’re looking for a Holy Grail product, I’d skip this one. I just don’t see it as being as effective as I’d expect it to be.
