Works best with lotion, no difference between lights that I can tell except red has heat
I got this neck massager in the hopes of helping my sagging crepey skin where my jaw meets my neck. I’m not sure it really works, but it feels nice and might b=get a little more blood flow to my skin.It does not work well on dry skin, the instructions say to use it with lotion or oil, which is spot on. The instructions try to describe the different lights as different modes, but the instructions don’t seem to match up to the labels on the machine, and they don’t seem to make any difference in the massage except the red has heat. I use it once a day after applying my face serum and lotion. It works by completing an electrical circuit between your hands and neck, so it works much better and of course moves smoother over the skin with lotion or oil. It doesn’t hurt at all, it just feels like a small, fast vibration. The downside to the electrical circuit mechanism is you can’t use it on someone else. I was trying to show my daughter how to use it, and it wouldn’t work while I was holding it. She had to hold it herself to use it on her skin.The shape of the tool is perfect for the neck. It also works for large areas of the face like the forehead and cheeks. It is lightweight and compact, so I can keep it in the medicine cabinet behind my mirror with my face lotion. It comes charged and gives several uses before needing to be recharged.Overall, I think its decent quality though I’m not entirely sure it does anything more than maybe encouraging blood flow and certainly it seems like the instructions overhype the different modes that just seem to be different colors of led lights. It’s an okay value for the half off sale price at the time of writing this review, because it’s similar in price to similar microcurrent neck massagers, but I don’t think the value is there at the full price. I’m giving it 4 stars because it does the basics of what it promises, it just isn’t as fancy as the description and full price would have you think.

Relaxing tool, but the results are subtle
The warmth and vibration feel soothing, especially when my face feels tense. The lights are easy to switch between, and it is simple to use while watching TV. I did not see a huge difference in wrinkles, but my skin looked a bit calmer after consistent use. It feels more like a self care device than a miracle treatment. Nice experience, just keep expectations realistic.

It stop working after one week, and there was no way to recharge it. It was a waste of my money. I accidentally let the return date of February 6 pass me by. I have no use for this product. It was a big disappointment.

I already own a few light therapy face masks, but I’ve been wanting something handheld that I could easily take with me when traveling. When I came across this light therapy device by Ihowin, it looked like the perfect option, and overall, it really has been. It’s not the fanciest device out there, but it works well, is thoughtfully designed, and does exactly what I was hoping it would do. The quality is decent. It doesn’t feel luxury level, but it also doesn’t feel cheap. It has that basic, straightforward facial device feel, and it’s well made and solid. What really matters to me is functionality, and this delivers. Using it honestly feels like a little mini spa moment at home.The device has clearly labeled modes right on it with LED indicator lights, which I really appreciate. There are seven different light colors, and each one corresponds to a specific preset mode, such as clean, hot, or massage. As you switch colors, the device automatically switches to the correct mode for that light, so there’s no guessing involved. The red light is the only mode that uses light, heat, and vibration together, which feels especially relaxing. The vibration feature automatically activates when the device makes contact with your skin, as long as your hand is touching the sensors on the side. That sounds complicated, but it’s actually very natural since that’s exactly where you hold it. The vibration is surprisingly strong, the lights are bright, and the warmth feels amazing when gliding it over your face and neck. The heat function warms up very quickly, and you can definitely feel it working. The shape of the device is another big plus. It’s lightweight, ergonomic, and fits perfectly in your hand. The curved head follows the contours of your face and neck really well, so you’re not constantly adjusting angles while using it.It charges with a Type-C cable and took around two hours to fully charge.
