How tight should a ring be?
Secure but not restrictive. It should slide smoothly over your knuckle with a bit of resistance, neither too tight nor too loose. Test the fit by making a fist. If you see a gap between your finger and the ring, you may try a smaller size.
What finger or hand does a ring go on?
For the best accuracy, it is recommended to wear it on the index finger of your nondominant hand. If you prefer another finger, the middle or ring fingers are preferable.
Stuck between sizes?
We recommend choosing the smaller size as it provides a snug fit that will enhance accuracy.
How does LYNX track sleep?
A green light sensor in LYNX monitors heart rate and identifies sleep states across four zones, while an accelerometer detects disturbances in sleep quality.
What do LYNX’s infrared sensors do?
The IR sensors measure oxygen saturation levels in your blood; they indicate how well your circulatory system is working.

Great kit & Ring
RENPHO Lynx Smart Ring-Sizing Kit- this review is just for the sizing kit only.Looks a lot like the real ring but is lighter.I am so glad I got the ring sizing kit first as my normal size is a 8 but in this smart ring I wear a 10 on the fingers they recomend using.Highly recomend if your going to go for this brands ring get the kit first. This part is for the ring.Size 10, blackAfter wearing the ring now for a little over a week I have to say I really like it. The app is very easy to use. I just use the basic parts of it I didnt sign up for anything. It really seems to keep track of how much I am walking (steps) as well I like adding in my water intake, So I can keep track of that. For once I have something that keeps track of my sleep even the odd hours I do sleep which is during the day as I work nights. I like that it tracks my stress, heart rates. If I really want to get fully into it I could track all my meals but honestly that is just a little to much for me. I would have to add most of my meals in the old fashioned way as I eat two bites and I am full and drink protien drinks. Having had weightloss surgery My meals are tiny. But that part of the app is also there so you can keep track of food if you want to. Most times I forget I am wearing it as it feels just like a normal ring, and on and off through the day I log onto the page just to update my steps and add in water intakes. The rechange case if small and handy. I normally just leave it at home as my ring is holding a change nicely It lasted nearly the full week. I also use the Exercise feature while I am using my tredmill so that at least counts towards my counts on the app.All in all I am very happy with the ring and I am glad I got it. I did take a two year protection plan out on it as a precaution.

RENPHO Lynx Smart Ring
The RENPHO Lynx smart ring is amazing. It works perfectly when it comes to counting steps, heart rate monitor, oxygen levels and sleep cycle. I would highly recommend it and it’s priced great.

After replacing, works as intended
Final review, after receiving a replacement:The battery life is far better than before. Where the first one I received needed to be charged initially and took hours to be 100%, the new one had an almost full charge out of the box. I went ahead and fully charged it, which was under an hour.I wore it for a full week before the charge fell below 20%. This is massive difference from the initial device I received, which would only last a few days, at first. The battery would deplete sooner and sooner after every charge, which took hours to do.About the charge now, it took maybe an hour and a half after starting to charge it at 20% to get back to 100%. So clearly, I had a defective unit before. It still doesn’t quite track steps perfectly, but it does track sleep very well.If I had received a working unit the first time, I probably would’ve given it a 5 stars.Old, initial review: Battery is trash. Having to charge it every two and half days makes this a worthless purchase. There’s no notification that the battery is dead, you just eventually look at the app and realize, “Dang, the battery is dead.” Compared to my smart watch (which I hoped to replace with this ring), this also doesn’t track steps nearly as accurate.I feel for sleep tracking it does do a better job, but that’s prime time to charge it. Because, wow. It needs to be charged more often than my watch.I also bought one for my wife for Christmas, both purchases were for around $169ish. But looking to leave this review and I see it’s like $229 now. Holy smokes is that the worst value of all smart rings on the market.I also have the smart scale, which mostly performs as expected, which is why I decided to buy this ring. But after realizing the battery is dead after making sure it’s 100% charged a few days ago, I’m regretting my loyalty. Either, 1. Smart ring technology is not where it needs to be to make these type purchases worth it, or, 2. This smart ring’s battery is worthless for it’s intended purpose.Update: My God it seems to get worse day to day. I’m past the time to get it replaced, so I’m stuck with this terrible smart ring. It takes forever to charge. And I mean even just one percent point takes several minutes. I have it at 69% and I thought to charge it a few minutes before going to sleep, just to be sure it lasts me through the morning until I get to my office desk and charge it some more (yes, it loses its charge THAT fast), after 20 minutes, it is still at 69%. Like, how? It seems it must be charged one minute for every minute you wear it. I can’t believe no one else is complaining….Second update: Since my first update, the ring stopped working entirely, meaning it loses it’s full charge within hours, not 24 hours like before. I attempted to fix this, by removing the device from my Renpho app in hopes of pairing it would make a difference. Now it will not pair with the app at all. It does detect the ring is available to pair, but it fails when I try.Two representatives reached out about my review and offered to either refund, or replace my ring after some back and forth where I’ve provided screenshots of the failed connection attempts. I was willing to give it another try with a new (probably refurbished) device and they said they would soon provide me with tracking details for my new ring, but it’s been weeks now and no other word from them has been received. They also said I wouldn’t have to send the old one back, which I felt was a good gesture. But since they’ve since ghosted me, I figured a fresh update was warranted.Third update: They finally sent the tracking info. After I receive it, I’ll provide a final update.

Amazing ring, looks amazing
This ring is amazing; it has the same functionality as the highest priced rings at a fraction of the price. In my opinion, it is one of the best looking smart rings in the market. The initial setup was very easy and the connectivity was inmmediate. It connects with my iphone and I get all the information from both devices on the health app.The battery last for days, and when it is time to recharge the light blinks red. Recharging the ring is really fast. The app is easy to use and very responsive. The size is accurate so you can check with a different ring or sizing tool before ordering.

Complete junk. Don’t waste your money. Not one single measure is accurate. I knew it would be unlikely to be accurate to track activity but I thought it might be able to track HR, HRV and sleep with some degree of accuracy, but no. Absolutely regret buying this “toy”
