Simply Fantastic
Sitting for me is impossible. Tens units help me minimize pain meds on the really hard days. I’ve used three other types of units over the last 26 years and this is by far the easiest and best unit I’ve ever had. I believe technology should be intuitive to use, so I often don’t read the user manual until I’m using the middle of using the tech, and this unit did not disappoint. It is highly intuiitive, though I do recommend reading the tiny manual (you are dealing with electric shock!). The manual is short and sweet.I bought this tens unit before taking it on a trip from Seattle to Greece (via Rome). I used it on and off throughout my three week trip. On the flight back from Rome I ran it non-stop for 11-12 hours before I needed to plug it in (under the seat). It has a USB chord, so it can be charged with any USB plug adaptor or through a USB port your computer.Even though the unit is very small, it’s easy to navigate through the display. I make a standard X with the pads. One pair: red on left glute, white on right low back. Second pair: red on right glute, white on left low back. Turn the tens unit on; select the pulse type (there are many variations of electric pulse); make your slection; lock it in your selection (you’ll see a lock icon (either locked or unlock)), and then pick your intensity. I couldn’t run the unit’s intenity as high as it would go (not even half way as high), so there is no worry that the intensity will never be enouugh.You can also increase or decrease the duration. The max duration is 60 minutes. After that, start again.The electrode pads that came with the unit were enough to last me three weeks. After I got home, I bought additional electrode replacement pads: TENS Electrodes – Premium Quality Large Replacement Pads for TENS Units – 20 Pairs of Snap TENS Unit Electrodes (40 TENS Unit Pads) – Discount TENS BrandDiscount TENS. I needed one more unit in 2 years and half
As we couple get older, we both have relied on our 1st unit since Sep 2018 but need to use it at the same time than waiting for each turn after recharge.. So after 2years and a half, I searched this type of product but ended up with this same one.. because our 1st unit has been working perfect until now and no other product is super handy and powerful than this, sizewise ad performanecwise. Delivered yesterday and we both are using it respectively at the same time. Fully satisfied still in June 2021.*** Update Nov 16 2018 ***The seller just solved my issue quickly and nicely, which was one of the most excellent customer care experience this time thru Amazon shopping ever for the last 10 years.Like my 1st review, this product will be my only option for next purchase again. If you are well aware of Oriental medicine like acupuncture, chiropractic or herb treatment rather than pain killing pills or any other chemical formulated medicine treatment, you might just want to try this product.My family came from that culture and tried this for the first time then it’s almost daily use item now.*** Update after almost 2 month use on Nov 11 2018 ***Like my 1st review Sep 25 2018, it was more helpful than thought after purchase. For almost 2 months until now, me and my wife have used often for pain on the back and shoulder, worked great and recharge was somewhat fast taking an hour and half or so for full recharge conveniently to re use.So thought about buying another one to try it for us at the same time but the only issue I have is the channel outlet on the right hand side does not contact well with the plug in pin, so I have to move up and down extremely tiny bit to get it on the screen, but does not stay on well.Now I use the left hand side only with 2 pads to use 50% only to maximum use and for those who will have or having same issue, please be careful and should press intensity a couple of more down because it’s stronger from using only one channel outlet for same intensity I think, otherwise it’s alarming to experience sudden stronger intensity when using only one channel outlet.Btw, any chance to replace in order to continue using it? Thanks

Lasted three days!! It was worthless, very short lived. I rarely give bad reviews, I wouldn’t recommend it. The intensity feature stopped working, it was useless

Great Little Gadget
This is a great little gadget. It gives you much more control over the TENS than IcyHot “Smart Relief” at a lower price. It works well for my sciatica. The display could be improved a little regarding “modes” – the instructions use numbers for the, whereas the display has pictures. Hard to tell what’s what, and where to pace the electrode pads for hip or knee pain.

Very convenient way of alleviating some aches and pains.
The PM-470 is a very convenient device to alleviate back pain and muscle fatigue. It could be used for arthritis pain relief as well. But do not use it on the head or chest. It has 6 modes of ‘massages’ and a large scale of intensities for every mode. The unit is small, easy to carry anywhere, and it has a rechargeable battery which is very nice. The battery holds its charge for a long time and it can be recharged from any USB output or electrical plug.It comes in a nice box with all the necessary chargers, wires, and pads.I use it several times a day when I have bouts of my chronic backaches, it helps a lot.I would give this device a maximum rating, it does everything it is supposed to do, it is small and easy to carry and looks sturdy enough.The pictures show some shadings/reflections on the frame and display of the unit. They are caused by the direction of the main light source, the unit is actually very shiny and the display/screen has no blemishes. The egg was used to show the size of the small and light, but sturdy unit.
