It took several days to use, this product has brought many surprises to my girlfriend. It is multifunctional, highly accurate , waterproof, sturdy in material, and easy to use. It is indeed a rare and excellent scale.

Good scale, suspicious software
The scale itself is quite nice. Premium glass top with a very sturdy and solid feeling base.The screen on the scale itself will display Weight, Heart Rate, BMI, and Body Fat measurements but everything else is restricted to the applications.The handle for the handheld electrodes is magnetically attached to the base and is easily grabbed and lifted up to a comfortable height. The cable is spring retractable and coils itself back into the scale when lowering it back down which works well.The scale appears to be accurate and the measurements are consistent with what I usually get on commercial body composition scales at a local gym.Something I find unacceptable is the apps, specifically the Android application. The app goes by the title fityoub and is formally published on the iOS appstore, but for Android the user is directed to a website to download the APK and sideload it… The app does not indicate anything suspicious according to malware scanners, but this is an unneeded hoop for customers to go through at best, and at worst it is a way to circumvent protections and safety implementations in the future.The actual privacy policy listed on the iOS appstore has some obviously broken translations and very strange wordings that raise concerns.”3. The Sharing and Disclosure of Personal InformationThis App software will enjoy your personal information.”The privacy policy does suggest that most of the analysis is processed on the device/phone only and not sent to the cloud, but it still raises eyebrows.Good scale, reasonably quick readings, feels solid and is simple to use. Questionable app and data practices.

I can’t figure everything out…
The shell of this scale is abs plastic which cheapens the look overall in my opinion. However I can see why the plastic exterior would make it less likely to break than a fully tempered glass scale. It comes with 4 generic AA batteries already installed, you just need to pull the plastic tab from the battery compartment.The app was easy to find thanks to the included QR codes and I had no trouble setting it up. When I weighed myself and lifted the bar, the app audibly told me what step it was on and when it was complete. I went to the app to see all of the data but only my weight was recorded. My weight was also almost 4lbs over my actual weight. I did this again 4 more times and the same thing…only weight was being recorded in the app. Finally on the 6th try, all of my numbers showed up AND my actual and accurate weight. Because it weighed me wrong the first 5 times, the chart looks like I dropped 4 pounds really quick. I ultimately deleted the inaccurate and incomplete readings to start fresh. I can’t say for sure if all of these numbers are accurate as I have nothing to compare to. I can only say that after 6 tries, the weight is now accurate. I uploaded screenshots of my readings this morning. As you can see, it shows all sorts of things. I have no idea how this technology really works. I also know that this is a tool meant to help you and isn’t an absolute.So as far as the app…like I said it was easy to setup and I was able to add a couple family members. But I cannot for the life of me figure out how to switch between family members so that when they step on the scale, their reading goes to their profile instead of mine. The app is pretty basic from what I can tell so it’s not hard to work for yourself…but it does advertise multiple users and that’s a mystery to me. Hopefully I can figure that part out when I can take the time to do research or reach out to the seller.Because of the inconsistencies in the beginning and the fact that I can’t figure out how to switch users, I’m giving this 3 stars for now. I worry about accuracy over time…but only time will tell. I’ll update as I use this more.
