Way easier to use than the pen styles and rollers!
​I really prefer this stamp style over the traditional rollers because it feels like I have way more control over the pressure. Since the needles go straight in and out rather than at an angle like a wheel, it feels much gentler on my skin and doesn’t pull or scratch. I like that the needle length is adjustable too because I can dial it back for more sensitive areas like my face but then turn it up a bit if I am using it on my scalp. ​The handle is easy to grip and the whole tool feels sturdy and well made. I have been using it with my favorite serums and it seems like they absorb a lot better afterward. It is a simple addition to my skincare routine that makes a noticeable difference in how my products work. The 140 needles provide great coverage in just a few presses so it doesn’t take much time at all to finish a session. This is also easy to clean. I just pit it in alcohol for abou 15 minutes and its sterilized. This is definitely a great value!

This is a micro needling wand with an adjustment at the base of the handle to change the length of the extended needles. This has a cap to cover and protect the needles and they need to be sterilized before each use.I don’t have the cream or mask or whatever material is used following the needling step.Having never used micro needling before, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but the name “micro” is apt, these needles are nearly invisible! I am looking forward to enjoying healthier, glowing skin following my new micro needling regimen.The idea is that by creating micro injuries to your skin, your body responds by triggering a healing which boosts collagen and elastins in your skin, improving the appearance, shrinking visible pores, reduce the look of scar tissue, etc.

Great for all levels of users
I began microneedling at home about a month ago, and I had a roller device with the shortest needles possible (0.25). I picked this one up because it is supposed to be a safer solution for home use: unlike with rollers, you don’t drag the needles across the skin, so the risk of accidental skin damage is minimal.This device arrived packed in a medical pouch, so I am confident in its sterility. Even so, you should generously soak it in alcohol before and after each procedure to ensure no microbes end up inside your skin. Make sure to press straight down and then firmly lift it up. Your skin will turn pink or red right away. Redness will subside and disappear in 1–3 hours, but on the off chance it lasts longer, I only use it before going to bed so I wake up fresh and pale as always the next morning.I am really happy that this device, unlike a roller, offers a range of needle lengths. You twist the tip of the handle to pick the level you desire. I am sticking to 1 for now (which is a significant change from my previous 0.25). You can go all the way to 3! But be very careful, as that needle length is something handled by medical professionals, and you don’t want to irreparably damage your skin (or even capillaries). Lower ranges are suitable for beginners, and higher ranges are for someone who is already used to microneedling therapy.Other than that, the mechanism is very straightforward and easy to begin using right away. It is plastic and lightweight, and the needles are metal. It has a cap to protect the head when not in use, which could be a little tighter or have a more solid locking mechanism. I keep my device in a crowded serum cabinet, and I worry that the cap might accidentally fall off when I rummage through the cabinet. If you keep yours stored upright, it won’t be a problem.Final verdict: I recommend this device. Given its range of needle length options, it will suit the needs of everyone, from beginners to seasoned users.
