Easy set up, decent accuracy, good price. Plays nice with Alexa & Hone Assistant
Set up took less than a minute. (I already had the Smart Life app on my phone. It took only a moment to switch to 2.4 GHz wifi.) The device showed up quickly in the app & a moment later it popped up in Alexa. It also listed in Home Assistant under Tuya devices (basically Tuya = Smart Life).I switched C to F in Smart Life & after 24 hours it switched. But Alexa & Home Assistant also do the converston on their own. So no big deal. I let the device stabilize in my greenhouse, actually hanging on an analog lab thermometer & the temp was close enough that I didn’t bother calibrating it. I’ve no way to verify humidity…I can create “scenes” in Home Assistant if I want to, but I really have no need right now.We’ll see how battery life goes & if it’s bad, I’ll add to this review. But for the price, I’m already impressed.

Great product for the price. More useful than just temp and humidity monitoring.
Bought a couple to see how they worked. They are actually pretty good considering the cost. I had little connectivity issue in the beginning but they have stayed on for months now. I had two side by side for accuracy and stability comparison. Both negligible differences and can be calibrated in the app.The feature I like best other than being able to see home climate from anywhere is the ability to incorporate them in my smart home ecosphere as a routine. I’m actually using on in my office as a smart thermostat to control my radiator via a smart plug. It will turn it on at a minimum settable temp and off at settable max. Works really good.They also keep a record of the temps and humidity for tracking your environment patterns.I bought a second set because they are great. Would recommend, especially considering the price.

It Works but App Could be Better
We added this to our crawlspace underneath a modular home in the northern Midwest states where cold winters are the norm. This is our first experience with this type of home, and we wanted to be able to monitor the temps as we are often away and were concerned about pipes freezing. We wanted a WIFI compatible thermometer so we could check on it while we are away. We have had it installed for about three months, and it has provided accurate temperature readings and alerts which we were able to program via the app. Since this is powered by a simple button battery, we aren’t sure how long it will be before it needs a battery change. We’ll try updating if there is an unreasonable issue.The only reason it doesn’t get 5 stars is the app is full of ads and such. With that being said, however, it does what it says it will do and that is to tell me the temperature which is why I purchased it. I wish the app would be as simple.

I had trouble connecting the device to my phone and was going to return it but decided to try my other phone and it connected right away! It was simple to change from C to F degrees. Like others mentioned, the original batteries don’t last long — 10 days. I appreciated being able to check to temperature of my home while I was out of state and for a very inexpensive thermometer it works great! I highly recommend it for the price — what do you have to lose?

Poor battery life
A wi-fi thermometer is a very nice idea, and this one is easy to set up, but mine has needed new batteries twice in the first month. Too bad.

Some settings don’t work and others are volatile
Reads Celsius only despite setting it to Fahrenheit. Updates every 10 minutes and that is not adjustable. Device name appears to change every time battery is changed. I am uncertain I will keep it.
