WINIX makes a fantastic air purifier
I suffer from chronic allergies both indoor and outdoor and I shopped online and in stores for a new air purifier. I had a Honneywell air purifier that did a good job but I wanted something that would add more features. I decided between a Honeywell and a WINIX both having similar features for a room size of about 360 square feet. After I received my WINIX air purifier I was very pleased with its performance in my bedroom where I need it most when sleeping. It has a four stage purification system whereas the Honeywell only has three stages. WINIX has a prefilter, a carbon filter, a HEPA filter that captures particles as small as .3 microns, and a plasmawave that kills pathogens. WINIX also comes with a nice remote control that you can control the Power, Auto Mode, Fan Speed, and Turbo Mode. The Plasmawave can be enabled/disabled from the front panel. Sleep Mode will be automatically detected when the WINIX is in Auto Mode or you can select Sleep Mode on the front panel. WINIX also has a Smart Sensor that detects the air quality and provides three colors to indicate the air quality Blue (good), Amber (fair), and Red (poor) and it will adjust the fan speed based on the ait quality. I was doing a project in the home and used some paint while wearing a resperator to protect my sinuses and lungs and prevent an allergy attack and the job was near my inside front door farthest from my bedroom which is on the opposite side of my home and WINIX immediately detected the paint fumes and the color indicator changed to red and the fan speed increased to high to clean the room air. WINIX really works hard to keep your air clean. WINIX is a pleasure to use at night when you go to sleep it automaticaly will turn off the illumination on the front panel and operate in a whisper quiet mode. But I find this air purifier is so quiet I keep it at fan speed level 2 (there are four fan speeds) and it is very quiet but very effecient to clean the air. Generic filter replacements are available and I purchased a set of two carbon filters and HEPA filters and the price is very reasonable especially when you don’t need to change the carbon and HEPA filters for 1 year. The pre-filter is permanent and needs to changing. WINIX also comes with a set of filters in the box. WINIX recommends that you clean the pre-filter every 2 weeks, and wash the carbon filter every 3 months, and change both the carbon and HEPA filters every 12 months. WINIX comes with a 2-year warranty. There is USA based product support and they are very helpful and friendly if you need a part or have a question. WINIX is designed beautifully and it is really a great air purifier that is easy to maintain. WINIX is meticulously made in South Korea. The quality is very apparent once you take it out of the box. I highly recommend the WINIX air purifier.

Powietrze staje się wyraźnie czystsze, oddycha się przyjemniej. Dziecko ma alergię, ale nie mogę powiedzieć, żeby nastąpiła jakaś duża zmiana w jego odczuwaniu powietrza. A very good air purifier with a washable pre filter and carbon filter.Design is okay. Easy to install .Noise level is surprisingly low and in night it automatically reduces fan speed if auto mode is selected. As for allergens I think it’s doing a decent job.Its a good value product overall. Plasmawave feature actually works and odour is drastically reduced.
