I think the hardest thing to manage with this blood pressure monitor is getting the cuff into the best position, and maintaining a good angle to get the most accurate reading possible. Aside from that, this machine works splendidly; it is a great value for the investment, and a useful tool in my healthcare arsenal.I love that it comes with everything to get it started right away, even the batteries! I do wish though that it was usb rechargeable, like most things are these days. It would save on the battery waste, but I can get some AA rechargeable ones.The arm band squeeze is not industrial strength, but gets the job done comfortably, and the cuff itself will fit most people; if you need bariatric equipment, you will need a different cuff.The display is clear and easy to read, uncomplicated. I especially love the little heart light, how it lights up with a colour synopsizing the numerical results.The instruction manual is also a simple read, with some visual aids; I do highly recommend keeping the manual in the case with the monitor. I also suggest removing the batteries if the device is going to be stored for an extended time without use, to prevent the batteries corroding in the machine and jamming up the nodes.When acquiring any essential medical devices, I always suggest taking the machine in to your next doctor’s appointment to check the calibration against one of the doctor’s blood pressure monitors, so you can be assured that the readings are accurate enough. If the discrepancies are too great, always contact Braun customer service, they have always been professional with my inquiries.One of the things I really like about this machine is how small and compact it is; if you need to travel or happen to travel a lot, this would be a very easy device to pack in a suitcase or even carry-on.I do like that it is bluetooth capable and detailed, extended tracking can be monitored with its app, but for my purposes I prefer to keep my medical data as analogue as possible (regardless of their privacy policy) especially when it is mostly for my own edification, and am happy enough with the memory storage capabilities of the device itself.

Accurate and Reliable for Home Use
Great for home use. I still prefer to use pen and paper to keep track of daily BP. It is compact and easy to use. The pump does exert quite a bit of pressure but most home units are like this. A little faster than some I have tried. It seems to be pretty accurate as well. I find apps are not reliable plus I don’t want the hassle of needing internet connectivity to keep records. I would buy the unit that doesn’t include blue tooth.
