Works like a charm at keeping humidity at desired levels.
This humidifier was a game changer. No more nasty filters to deal with. And it actually raised the humidity in my home to a safe and comfortable one. My house is very dry here in New England during the winter. It is unhealthy to have humidity so low. I knew my small units weren’t working so I purchased this to handle the first floor in a 1700+ sf home. I only use distilled water so I’m not getting any deposits on floor or furniture. The air is clean and breathable. Maintains humidity 35% and up. I do go through a lot of water but that’s the price I need to pay to keep my home and family healthy. Great light in reservoir so I know when to refill. Easy to fill. Very quiet unit. I have had this running daily all winter. No leakage! This is a powerhouse of humidifiers. A++++

I received a notification that my Dero humidifier was delivered, unfortunately the driver was not able to get in my apartment complex although the code was provided with Amazon. However the driver through the package over the fence in the garden area. I didn’t think much of it so I proceed to follow the assembly directions my humidifier. Once set up, I turned it on and it would not work. I pressed the power button and it wouldn’t stay on it will count down to seven show lights and shut off, I tried several times still it would not come on.. so my next step was to connect it to Wi-Fi using my phone and pairing it. I download the app paired with my phone to set it up. Once paired it gave me no instructions how to set it up and turn it on. I’m really frustrated that this humidifier is not working properly and I’ve tried everything but I can think of to get it to work. Now I have to ask for refund return this product and try to get another to see if it will work. It’s annoying, because I was looking forward to use this in my plant garden causing me to be off schedule of missing my plants a day or two. I tried everything, unplugging to reboot the system and checking to make sure I assembled everything correctly. This is my reason for giving it a two rating.I’m redacting my previous review based on the two stars that I gave it… Now as I have stated, that the humidifier was not working I reached out to the customer service tech and the gave instructions on the phone how I can correct my issue with my humidifier.. he was most helpful and patient with me walking through step by step to get the humidifier working, so I upgraded my review from two stars to five. I’m very happy and excited that everything is working well and my plants are enjoying its new humidity and I look forward for healthy growth. If you have any issues with this product I will consider connecting to customer service before rating the product.

Works well for 1 day
This XL humidifier performs ok while it runs but don’t expect that to last for very long. The unit I have lasted 1 day. After the first 24 hours, the house humidity was 27% and Dreo Humidifier showed 58% and it shut off. I contacted Dreo as I really wanted to like this unit. They said sometimes the sensor gets wet or damp. You need to shut off the unit, dry it off and wait 24 hours for it to dry out completely. After waiting (and the house drying out even more), I started the humidifier back up. Within 8 hours, the same thing happened and I needed to let it dry out again for 24 hours. I communicated with the company again. They offered to send me a replacement unit, however it would NOT have a warranty. I’d just have to live with the consequences.
