So I ordered the 6 piece million color kit a couple weeks ago. They arrived in the time they were predicted to, and I had already talked with a buddy of mine who agreed to help me install them. One night I drove to my buddy’s place where he got to work. Each light has a (good sized) wire that plugs into the control box you see in the picture. My friend was able to run all the wires underneath the center console, and up into the center cupholder in my Mazda 3, where I keep the control box. The tricky part then, was that the control box has 3 wires to it: The traditional red/black wires, plus a yellow wire. My friend installed the red/black into the 12V socket that is NOT always on, just turns on with the car, so the lights will turn on/off with the car. All of the wiring I’ve mentioned so far has had plenty of length, except the yellow wire, which my friend decided was to be plugged into the audio system, to get the “audio-synced” mode. Unfortunately we won’t be able to install that part until he finds more wiring, since we were only given around 6 inches to work with. All together, the installation seemed easy enough for his practiced hands, I can’t say whether or not I couldve made it look so easy though… Also, I personally wish I had gotten the 8 piece kit, because although these lights are very noticeable, it didn’t quite achieve the…”flashiness” I was looking for.. nevertheless they are very cool and I’m extremely happy I got these.P.S. Use sticky back velcro! It worked soooo much better than the crappy 3M tape they give you!UPDATE:Well over a year later, unfortunately one of the lights has broken. This one was mounted under the passenger side of the dash and I suspect it was broken when passengers unknowingly kicked it. I visited their website after dealing with some very friendly and helpful people in both customer service and technical support, and they have replacement parts for this kit right on the site.

11-29-11Incredible, easy to install, extremely bright! I purchased these Led lights a couple weeks ago and I couldn’t ask for anything better. The box you plug your Led tubes into makes the installation clean.Tips:I highly suggest velcro with sticky on the back to make the installation easier and clean,and its also great for any household fix ups. I also used an add a circuit from my fuse box, worked great.Pros:BrightLove the remoteFlexibleDurable (flexible, and tubes to keep water out)Good PriceMany colorsCons:The wire should be a little bit longer to extend the Led further (I managed and all worked out fine)Remotes battery came dead (got a new battery “A27” and haven’t had to change it since)Update 5-11-12Led’s are still working like on day 1. Had a problem with the remote loosing signal and LEDGLOW sent out another remote no questions asked and that problem has been fixed. I also have purchased 2 more sets of these, both for friends. The led’s in all three cars look great and no problems have came up. Highly recommended.Update 12-6-12The Led’s are still working perfect. No complaints!Update 1-9-17Surprisingly the LED’S have outlasted the life of my car. Looking forward to installing these into my new vehicle.

Cool product that is 5 Options Away from being Awesome – I hope you LEDGlow guys are listening…
I really like this setup.The overall quality is pretty good. The price is right. Installation is pretty easy. I was able to run power off my fuse box, find a chassis ground, and then run the lights in around a half hour.The lights are bright and the choice of colors is nice. I expect this unit to last the life of my car.I would give this 5 stars but for a few small gripes:1. There are a number of flashing modes that need to be cycled through before you can get to the single color choices. I would like to be able to turn these flashing options off so I can just cleanly go from one color to another. I don’t want my vehicle to flash, and frankly, the “responds to your music flash” is dubious at best. So get rid of this, or give me the option to not even see it.2. Variable colors would be nice. Meaning, you call this “Million Color” so where are my million colors? Why can’t I turn a dial tune in the exact color I want? That would be really cool. The choices you give me are nice, but some variability would be really neat. I would pay more for this.3. I’d like to split the light strips into different colors, maybe have half red and half blue, or two green, two yellow, two white. Whatever. That would be awesome. I would gladly pay more for this option as well.4. Variable brightness – Let me determine how bright I want to make each light. Instead, I have to position the lights just right to prevent night blindness. Again, I’d pay more for this option.5. Remote Control – the little remote is ok. I have it stuck in an inconspicuous yet convenient place on a blank in my dash, to the left of my wheel. This is fine. An app that would allow me to adjust this suggested options from my phone would be really cool. And yes, I’d be willing to pay more for this.

I thought you could select what colors you could use to strobe but you can’t, you only get colors that they give you, which Im not a fan, I thought it was going to be differentDefinitely would not buy this kit ever again,
