I received this just before going on a mom-daughter cruise so figured I would pack it since it’s so small and we could both use it. In hotel, the night before departure I opened and started reading directions to find out a Microcurrent gel is needed. No stores seem to carry those on the shelf including CVS which actually sells a bulkier no-heat device. After doing more reading online, I did get some 100% aloe Vera gel at Walmart on the way to the ship. Aloe can be used and is the most all natural conductor but supposedly doesn’t have the best results. So I can’t write about results and really aging takes time so I expect this to take time for any effects to be noticeable. I can say it is easy to charge and use other than they could have included a little trial packet if gel like the sample sizes of moisturizer handed out at cosmetic shops. I do think the red light and the Microcurrent will eventually show some effect and with the correct gel is like a little face massage which can be done watching tv so if you normally watch tv or movies, then adding this into your routine every other day is pretty simple. I normally justified my tv time by exercising while watching so this will be even more relaxing.I’m waiting for my gel to arrive to say if that makes it glide even more smoothly than the aloe. Plus I will be doing more research on DIY more natural gels since the $20/bottle ones do have ingredients I don’t want to use regularly but I want to try this device with a Microcurrent gel and other gels that are recommended for great results are approximately $50/less than 2 oz. Granted not using much each session but that’s pricey to try though if they enhance the results of the device, more economical than spa treatments. Be aware though that Microcurrent machines like this do have to be used approximately every other day since the low-level electrical stimulation is (according to AI) to muscle and tissue for temporary results while ultrasound devices that are available for $10+ more than this device uses a less expensive gel and stimulates collagen production so has longer lasting results of skin- tightening. From the quick “Microcurrent vs ultrasound” search AI reply, it seems like using both devices would yield the best anti-aging results.This is packaged nicely so it would be giftable if you also give a bottle of gel with it.

Not impressed and this doesn’t include the gel
I’ve used this multifunctional beauty instrument for two weeks, about every 3rd day on normal aging skin. I use for about 5 to 10 minutes each session concentrating on mostly face (jawline). I like the sleek design of this product, easy to hold, buttons aren’t as likely to be pushed accidentally. Cap over instrument end which they don’t mention but is shown in the instruction pamphlet. Simple buttons and instruction for programs. I was disappointed that the heat they mention isn’t really warming, it just keeps the head from being cold (unless you use the blue which IS cool). And even then it takes a couple of minutes to work up to it, so for me it wasn’t a plus. Also, you need to separately purchase the conductive gel in order for the micro-current portion to work. I tried using other creams and got nothing. I used some gel from another unit and it worked but I don’t know if it would have worked more consistently if I had used their company gel. Although I used it all the way to the top fourth level it didn’t produce what I would have expected (generally the current is too high for me at upper levels and will feel more static and prickly). I barely felt the current at all at the bottom level and the current was more forceful but also intermittent as I increased to the fourth level.It charged easily with the included USB to USB-C charging cord which plugs in to the base. I haven’t had the lights flash yet so haven’t charged it again. It says the charge is good for 3 hours and I haven’t gotten close to that yet. Some parts of the instructions are printed very small which makes reading the directions difficult but doable. Personally I didn’t notice any particular improvement in my skin texture or firmness but to be fair it can take longer than 2 weeks to see noticeable differences. I would tend to see more benefits after about 4 weeks or more. Because the microcurrent function requires a conductive gel that isn’t included, I wasn’t able to evaluate that feature as consistently as I would have liked
