I’ve been wanting to try an electric microneedling pen for a while, and this one didn’t disappoint. The adjustable needle depth and multiple speed settings make it much more versatile than a standard derma roller. Nice microneedling pen for beginners
This is a nice set for a beginner that includes the microneedling pen and 12 cartridges. I was a little nervous before using it as I wasn’t sure what to expect in terms of discomfort or pain. The most shallow setting is 0.25 mm and goes up to 2 mm. This pen can be used either with a rolling technique or a stamping technique. The pen is easy to hold and easy to disinfect with alcohol. It’s recommended to use it 2 to 3 times a week as part of your regular skincare routine to help boost your serum absorption. The benefit of using a microneedling pen is to create tiny channels in your skin to allow your serums to better penetrate, therefore giving better overall results. This will cause some redness and depending on your skin sensitivity you might want to be cautious. Skin felt nice and smooth and overall looked healthier after usage. Definitely start at the most shallow setting and work your way up as you get comfortable. The pen itself has a good battery life with an easy to read LED display. It’s easy to recharge and easy to change the cartridges out. Overall, it’s a nice value for a do it at home versus paying for a spa session.

Great entry-level pen, but Instructions are Very Poor
As a beginner, I was curious to try microneedling after hearing so many positive things from dermatologists. This kit is well-stocked, coming with the pen, twelve individually packed needle tips (36-pin style), and a USB charging cord.The Setup:The device itself is straightforward to use: you lock in the tip, apply your serum, and move the pen across your skin. However, I found the printed instructions to be incredibly confusing. They are filled with errors and were very difficult to follow. I recommend watching professional tutorials online before you begin to ensure you are using the correct technique.Performance and Safety:I started at a depth of 0.15 mm, which I found to be quite tolerable. While the device goes up to 0.25 mm, I plan to increase the depth very slowly and carefully. I definitely wouldn’t feel comfortable going deeper than that at home. One thing to note: the manual says the tips are single-use only. While some people suggest sterilizing and reusing them, I think it depends on how well we can sterilize the tip to prevent infection or skin damage. And also, it comes the question. Where can I find the tips after completing these 12 ones?Verdict:A functional and powerful tool for the price, but the manufacturer really needs to provide clearer, more professional instructions for safety.
