As a skin care professional of over 2 decades, I’m always looking for tools that my clients can use at home. I purchased this a year ago and rarely get a green light. Again, as a professional in the industry, I always read the directions thoroughly (and do my share of research prior to buying), so it isn’t user error.ALSO, it’s interesting that they push that you can only use their gel product with it. Not at all true. And for the record, lack of green light has also happened with their product.Save your money and go with a REPUTABLE home Microcurrent device. Not only will it stimulate ATP, it’s like a gym workout for your face!

Its taken me a while to write this (6 weeks) as there is no point in reviewing something that takes time to work.Over 50 the boot camp phase needs to be 90-120 days not 30 as instructed. I still have a long way to go!If you buy just know the gel may come up to a week later so don’t panic. I did as I asked Amazon who told me it was a mistake and I should return the device. Thankfully the seller put me straight, quickly and gel arrived later. I don’t mind as Amazon are generally very helpful and have saved me many times with problem products. This is not a problem buy, this is a quality product.This IS NOT a quick fix and requires dedication.Device – This is very light and my first thought was is this a toy?!. It’s meant to be this light and small for ease of use and comfort.Gel – the gel that arrives a few days after your order is not great but works so just use it till you buy more. It’s the old Newa one which is sticky, dries, you can’t leave on and need to use so much due to this it runs out quickly. Also, the tube has a poor design. I was initially worried about having to keep buying as you need to use their gel for efficacy. Thankfully, Newa has created a new gel which is awesome!. It’s 150ml so way bigger, not drying or sticky, goes a long, long way and the tube has a good nozzle. I love the new gel and if you order 3 from Amazon, it works out really cheap.Ease of use – I found it a bit tricky to get the hang of at first and get the light to stay green. However, in a few days I got the knack and it’s super easy and super relaxing. It doesn’t require much brain power and although it’s timely it can be done whilst watching TV easily and I find it no issue. After bootcamp it’s only twice a week.Effect – It took me 6 weeks to see collagen beginning to build up and I wish I was confident enough to show pictures but it’s working! I omitted my forehead so I could see the difference. My forehead now does not fit the rest of my face.My skin is roughly 10% less saggy, my cheekbones are pronounced, my jowels tighter and the marionette lines starting to smooth. Best bit is my skin is baby soft. I have started to get compliments from people at work.Biggest win that may help you if thinking about an investment – I have been on Mounjaro and have lost lots of weight at age 50. My face was sagging, and my body. Now my face is showing no signs of the dreaded Ozempic face. My body is still saggy but my face looks tighter! Win!!!! I plan to purchase a body RF when I can afford it.If you are thinking of buying a cheaper one, hear this. Every single plastic surgeon, dermatologist, content creator and influencer in the beauty space, owns a Newa. It’s the gold standard, OG of home RF devices using the same technology the manufacturers use on their in-office RF devices.If you are unsure, watch a cross section of these people e.g ageing naturally with Jody Lynn, TK tutorials, Dr Yeun, Dr Rajani, Dr Dray, The Brazilian Girl, and many more if you find fault with these. They all favour certain products, companies and devices and some collaborate but ALL rate (and own) Newa devices (except Dr Dray as she is very basic but good for science). Dr Rajani and Yeun are minimally invasive, organic plastic surgeons.Anyway, I am not saying everyone should pay money they can’t afford, or it gives surgical face lift results. I am saying it gives natural, gradual, snatched and plump skin. My friend got a face lift 6 years ago, it looked great, but now she needs another!! This is £369 (ish) for a device that lasts at least 4+ years and with the new, improved gel; I have worked out the rough monthly price for 4 years for the cost of the device and their new 150ml gel, according to how much I use per month so far = £17.50.I tend to give longer reviews for more expensive products on Amazon as I don’t have a lot of money so I know how that decision feels, it’s not easy! If it’s not worth the £, I say, and more than that I complain to Amazon, looking for a resolution. Main reason I buy here is I always get a resolution so I feel less anxious when spending.My only regret is I didn’t buy this years ago, before my ageing set in. Best investment I have made in years!!!
