Easy Peasy to put on!
I’d have to say this is the easiest rib/back/lumbar support belt to use. Incredibly thoughtfully designed. They provide you with a thumb/finger hook to hold one end (left side) so that you can pull it all the way past the center of your chest to the side of your rib cage. At whatever place along your chest, thoracic or lumbar region you desire. They then provide you with a hook that your whole hand or four fingers can slide through to now pull and tighten this awesome elastic belt fully around and over your initial left hand (or right hand, depending on your chirancy) rib position and stretch it to where it feels best for you and your condition. Press toward your chest and attach it by the wonderful Velcro fastener and you’re done! If too tight or you need to reposition it, just pull the same hand sized hook up and away and just redo the same steps until it fits perfectly!Note, that this Velcro Fasterner is profoundly more Secure, Stable and a much better Hold than any other I have every used. Which is many. This means that it will take a little strength to tug at it to pull if off to reposition or retire. But, I’m sure you’ll find that such effort is well worth it in exchange for the benefit of getting a custom fitting support brace that is so comfortable, strong and secure!Have fun! *-)

I can’t give a complete review on this as we were not able to use it for the issues we hoped to correct due to its size.(we needed an XL) However, we have used many back braces and shoulder braces over the years and we were able to use this enough that I can compare with an educated guess.That being said:Very easily put on and tighten. My husband has Parkinson’s and it is really hard to get him dressed in a button up shirt or coat. This item when pulled out to the maximum length was quite easy to put on him. It can be easily used by most without help to get it on and tightened.It might be confusing the first time you put it on, but there are INSTRUCTIONS INCLUDED that are easy to read and understand. Once you put it on the first time, you should have no problem whatsoever in subsequent wearings.As you can see in the picture in the ad, the straps go from the back around your shoulders, criss cross in the back and then tighten as part of the belt. The straps do not disconnect from the brace. Thus you don’t have to figure out how to place and tighten them each time.The waist belt connects in the front with Velcro. The straps that went over your shoulders are combined with an elastic belt that you can tighten to your comfort. It is designed so that the shoulder straps won’t tighten or become uncomfortable when adjusting the belt.There’s a piece of metal that runs down the back and is used as a stabilizer. It is your basic brace metal that can be bent. It is a thin piece though, and does not seem strong enough to assist in keeping your back straight. Although I may be wrong about this due to the fact that we were unable to use it.This brace immediately and comfortably pull the shoulders back into a correct posture position and it will support the lower back..I got this for my husband to help him to sit without slouching and to walk upright. These issues we were unable to address as we need the xl size instead of the large.The material used to make this is comparable to other braces I have seen however it doesn’t weigh much. The top quality braces that I have are much heavier.It is stitched neatly, and there are no rough edges.The shoulder straps are wide enough to sit comfortably and not dig in.The belt at the waist is wide enough to be a good lower back support. And the top belt at the waist looks as if it won’t lose its elasticity with multiple uses.All of these things considered I would say that the quality you get is good for the price you pay.
