Review After 4 Weeks of Use From Former Skeptic Who Just Wanted to Look a Little Less “Worn Out”
I’ve been using this LED light therapy mask for almost four weeks now, pretty consistently, because I wanted to see if it actually does anything. I’ll admit something right away, like honestly: for the longest time I kind of thought red light therapy was this thing mostly women did. But I’m a guy, and at some point it hit me that my face could use some help too, you know? Especially if I don’t want people glancing at me and thinking, wow, he looks weirdly old or tired or just… worn out.If you dig through some of my older reviews from maybe 6 or 9 months back, you’ll notice I was pretty doubtful about the whole red light therapy thing. I still believe a bit of doubt is good, keeps you grounded. But after trying a few different gadgets over time and realizing they don’t fry your skin or anything and might actually do something, I figured—why not keep at it? I mean, curiosity is a kind of experiment, right, and I like experiments even if they don’t make sense at first.This mask really surprised me, in a good way, like unexpectedly good actually.Here’s what I’ve noticed after four weeks: * My skin looks a little smoother and more even, especially around the forehead and cheeks. Nothing huge or movie- star level, but it’s there, I can see it, definitely see it. * My face feels healthier overall — less dull, less “tired-looking,” and a bit firmer. * The warmth from the red and infrared lights is relaxing, and I actually look forward to the sessions. * No irritation at all, which is important because some devices can be harsh. * I’m reacting to it in a positive way, enough that I want to keep going to see how much more improvement I can get. * And honestly? It feels good to be doing something for myself, even if it’s just 10 minutes a day.The device itself feels solid, comfortable, and simple to use. Well Design, Quality Made, Red, Blue and Near-Infrared Light Therapy Mask for Face
This is my third order from Amazon for Red Light mask and after using them for a while, I can say the red light masks are beneficial in making the skin texture smoother and healthier (we have consistently used them once every other day for the first month and then twice per week after that for maintenance).This particular mask’s design and quality is better than the others: the eye cups are already attached/built in, the material is thicker (just as soft), the lights are more intense and produce faster results (we can feel the face moisturized with mist like sweat (from the heat of the lights? And smoother). I like the default or automatic setting as soon as I turn the mask on (Red and Infrared lights 5 minutes, Blue lights 5 minutes then Red and Blue lights 5 minutes (total 15 minutes) then automatically shut down. Or you can choose the different lights, the intensities and the duration of each session via manual mode.This mask is controlled via a rechargeable controller (recharged by USB C) and if I used the 15 minutes program, it can last for 2 sessions before I recharge it again. The ease of use is just like wearing any facial mask, just attached the Velcro straps on the two sides (I don’t take them off after session) and attached them to each other (you can loosen and tighten the straps to adjust how tight/loose the mask will feel to be comfortable for you) so the fit is just perfectly comfortable. The mask should be large enough for the biggest face/head.Judging by how much we spend for facial massage and cosmetic supplies, the value for money of this mask is a no brainer, $160 for a Red, Blue and Infrared lights mask that you can use any time conveniently at home without additional cost to give you nice facial skin treatment/stimulation. This mask was tested by me (guinea pig for my wife before she would use any new products) before my wife started using it. Our results from using this mask are great but our skin sensitivities are all different individually. You can take advantage of the Amazon’s generous 30 days easy replacement and refund policy to test a couple weeks for yourself to see if it also helps you or for some individuals, their faces are too sensitive and might cause discomfort or irritation (stop use immediately and return for a full refund).We both love the look, the quality, the ease of use, how it makes our faces feel afterwards and the healthier facial skin afterwards. Highly recommend by two users and believers.
