Worth Trying Out
Red light therapy is something that we’ve been reading about for a while and decided to finally give it a shot. The portable design seemed perfect since we travel sometimes and the 670nm wavelength was mentioned as being good for sleep support.We’ve been using it for a few weeks now before bed and I guess we got used to it. It’s easy to use. You need to just turn it on and let it run for about an hour before sleep. The red glow isn’t harsh at all and doesn’t bother our eyes.Can’t say if it’s a huge difference yet but our sleep does feel a bit more consistent. It’s nice having something portable that we can take with us. The device works exactly as described and the battery life is decent.Pretty satisfied with this purchase overall. Worth the money.

Effective for insomnia
Works as advertised – and has been the best non-drug insomnia reduction method I have used. (In ear head phones, sleep masks, sound machines, etc.)It works for me – I still wake up, but I definitely go back to sleep sooner.And I was incredibly dubious about whether it would work.The biggest issue is the battery life which does not last a full night.As long as you understand that it needs to be plugged it, you’ll like it.

Nice little travel light
I love this little red light. I wanted a red light for travel because I like to have a little night light in my room or in the hallway to the bathroom. It fits easily in my bag for traveling so that I have a night light that doesn’t interfere with my melatonin production when I’m sleeping. It’s easy to charge and lasts about one night. The only thing is that the charger needs to be a USB-A to USB-C. It won’t charge with USB-C to USB-C. One you connect it to a compatible charger there will be a little red light near the charger port that turns green when it is fully charged. It is easy to operate and works well as a night light. Be advised that it is small and doesn’t put out a ton of light, so while it doesn’t light up a whole room very brightly it does keep the room from being pitch black. It’s perfect for my needs.

I’m a believer now
I got this for myself to help with sleep regulation; I was slightly skeptical that it would work but from night one I could appreciate a slight difference. It does not put me to sleep but it does seem to help relax me and that helps me get to sleep. Surprisingly enough it works very well for my elderly dog. She has been mixing up night and days (she’s 17) and at night tends to wander around the house. We place the light in the area she typically lays and within minutes she settles and the young dogs settle too!! This light is small and lightweight, and rechargeable (usb-c) so it can go anywhere with you. I particularly like that I can take it on the go easily or from room to room. The on/off slider is on the bottom but the button to change the brightness is hidden in the front logo that is not raised or anything to indicate that it is a toggle switch of sorts. Initially I thought something was wrong with the light because when I picked it up it would toggle thru the 3 brightness levels to off. ( the instructions do tell you it’s there) Personally, I don’t like this feature, but it is not a deal breaker for this item, just takes adjustment on my part to get used to it. I am assuming it has a timer feature because it does turn off on its own. I don’t know how long it stays on because I am usually asleep before it turns off. The instructions included do not include any information about it only staying on for a certain amount of time. Fully charged and using it for my dogs for about 2 hours each evening it only takes about 4 nights until a re-charge is necessary, so roughly fully charged =8hrs run time. If you are a shift worker, have difficulty falling asleep, or don’t want to take sleep meds then I recommend trying red light therapy. I initially thought this could be a gimmicky sort of device, however a family member who is a medical professional in sleep verified to me that this is a known treatment for helping with sleep. For us the pleasant surprise is that it works for the dogs too.
