Constant Battery Drain Ruins a Decent Scale
The scale itself functions well—the measurements are accurate, the nutritional database is helpful, and the app integration is actually quite smooth. If you are looking for precision and data, the hardware and software are solid.However, there is a major flaw that makes it almost impossible to recommend: it is an absolute battery hog. Even with brand-new, high-quality batteries, I find myself having to replace them constantly. It seems like the display or the Bluetooth connection stays active or drains power even when it’s not in use.It’s frustrating to go to prep a meal only to find the scale dead again. For a device that should be a simple kitchen staple, the maintenance on the power side is just too high. Until they fix the power management issues, I’d look for a more efficient model.
