It functioned properly. Excellent quality. The best feature is that it automatically starts and stops to keep the humidity level we set. At 55% relative humidity, a 1-gallon fill can last up to two weeks. The remote is extremely useful for adjusting settings from my workstation (the humidifier is in the opposite corner).

GREAT little Humidifier. Okay Smart Features.
Getting to the point, this is a GREAT humidifier with smart app connectivity, remote, humidity, and temperature display. The ability to have it cut on and off based on humidity is a game changer and allows the tank to last longer. Please see below for what I like and don’t like**WHAT I LIKE**-Temperature and Humidity Display-The machine automatically runs and stops based on humidity level-Sleep mode that turns off the display except for a tiny icon-Top fill making it easy to fill-Very fine mist that actually increases the humidity level instead of leaving huge water droplets close to the humidifier-Smart app control and remote control so you can control it from your phone or just across the room-Has led night light that you can turn on or off-Beeps to let you know that the tank is empty and turns off-Also very quiet operation-Instant mist, now waiting to boil**WHAT I DON’T LIKE**-While there is smart app control, it leaves a lot to be desired. You can turn on and off the device and adjust the humidity level and speed/ level of the mist. But you cannot see the current humidity level or temperature from the smart app. There are also two apps that do the same thing and they don’t integrate with Google or Alexa for voice control.-There is fill line or information in the instructions of where to stop filling the tank so I have to just assume that I shouldn’t go above the tube.-When it auto shuts off, it doesn’t remember the previous settings. So it turns on at the highest mist level and lowest humidity level-The Humidity and temperature level are not accurate. I have other “hygrometers” and this one is consistently at least 20% higher than those ones. But it is consistently inaccurate so I set it to 50 all the time and it keeps it comfortable in the room.-The temperature is also only in Celsius and there is no way to switch it to Fahrenheit. The would be a useful metric to monitor the baby’s room for humidity and temperature, but once again they don’t show in the app.-You can turn the holes at the top in two directions but it’s useless, it doesn’t direct the mist. The mist goes straight up, no matter which direction you point the holes.I really like this humidifier even though I have a good amount of dislikes. It works better than the previous Humidifiers that I have and I love the fact that it won’t get too humid due to the built in hygrometer that automatically stops the mist. If they fix the minor annoyances I listed in my dislikes, it would definitely be a 5 star product.Also, I recently learned from the doctor that you aren’t supposed to put the humidifier right next to you. It should be across the room. This unit effectively humidifies my master bedroom, but I wouldn’t use it in a large room due to the relatively small tank. But it would work. It’s just that you would need to refill the tank more than would be desirable.

I searched Echo compatible smart humidifiers. This came up in the results. It is NOT Echo compatible. A bit disappointed, as the Home Life app doesn’t have a scheduling function.
