I love this alarm clock! The sunrise function is so amazing & helps me wake up. You wouldn’t expect a slow, steady 30 minute (which you can adjust) light getting brighter would help but it does! This alarm clock also has an RGB function so it works in lieu of a sunset lamp as well. The light gets bright enough to light the entire room at its peak brightness.My favorite part about this alarm clock is that it has very varied sounds for the alarm. It has one that is essentially Canon in D and I LOVE IT for my Christmas season alarm sound! I can also choose between jungle nature sounds as well (maybe better for summer?) and other typical alarm sounds. It also has white noise as well but I fear I would just fall deeper into sleep with that one.If you unplug it, it keeps the time it had while it still had power. This is great because it means I don’t have to update my same settings every time I need to unplug it. It keeps the alarm settings as well. I’ve only ever had it unplugged for a minute or two and I keep my alarm clock about 10-15 minutes ahead of the actual time.Overall a great purchase! You don’t need to spend a ton of money for a good sunrise alarm clock & this one is proof! I thought $30 wasn’t a lot and I was worried about usability and quality. This alarm clock has delivered with both of those. I struggle with insomnia & getting up in the morning. I have mixed this alarm with my additional phone alarms. A tip: the second you turn off the alarm, the light turns off. I don’t use snooze because I would snooze on repeat. Once you turn the alarm off, get up and turn your normal room light on or open your windows. This helps me soooo much!A GREAT backup option for when your phone alarms don’t get you up.

BIG improvement over previous sunrise alarm clocks
My previous sunrise alarm clock lit up in my face right after I dozed off to sleep. It said 88.88 and none of the buttons worked. Had to unplug it. Time for a new clock.This one is Fabulous. The old one only lit up around the outside rim like a lifesaver. This whole clock is a light.The old clock had recessed buttons around the ends, and on-screen icons. None were visible in the dark or usable when waking up. It was a beast to set even when you turned on a light and read the instruction manual.This clock has a nice big button on top, so you can turn off the alarm when you’re half asleep. It can also be used to set functions. There’s also an easy-to-use roller for settings.It not only comes with an actual easy-to-read manual in understandable English, it comes with a separate big diagram of every button on the clock and what its function is! Bravo to who ever thought of that. The buttons themselves are labeled so it’s easy to see what they do.It has the days of the week – which my old clock did not. A big help when waking up and needing to remember what day it is when you’re half asleep. Alarm can be set for a full week, week days or weekends. And you can dim the time display or turn it off.The sound quality is what you would expect from a plastic clock. White noise and natural sounds are easy to go through with the labeled buttons and volume roller.The light came on this morning with a lovely glow to slowly wake me up. It’s currently DST in spring, this is going to be even more Awesome on cold dark winter mornings. I do NOT want to wake up in the dark to a blaring alarm.The only cons are not deal-breakers: The time display is fuzzy, like it’s behind a piece of frosted plastic. Looks like my usual nearsighted view. And you can’t change the color of it – it’s an ugly orange. It only changes color when you change the background light color. And the wire was too short to reach from the top of my night table to the floor where my power strip is. Got a five foot Amazon Basic wire.Looking forward to bedtime.

Great purchase, makes getting out of bed easier
This alarm clock was such a great purchase. I used to be an early riser on weekdays and weekends. I have Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and sometimes it feels impossible to peel myself out of bed. My bedroom window faces west, so I get no sun in the morning. The simulated sunrise has been so helpful. I have a vitamin d deficiency, so I think the ‘sunrise’ tricks my body into thinking I’m getting real sunshine lol, but I’m sure that’s totally psychosomatic.The light is so bright and I love that it’s adjustable. I set the light to stay on even when I hit snooze and it helps keep me from falling back into a deep sleep. I’ve always loved waking up to the sound of birds, so having that option as an alarm sound is so lovely.Everyday it gets a little easier to get out of bed on time. Before getting this alarm, it was hard for me to get out of bed to be able to clock into work on time (I wfh). But yesterday I was able to get up early enough to go to the gym before work, today I was up early enough to do chores before work. Such a blessing.It was pretty easy to get set up out of the box. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. There are a lot of buttons, so hold on to the instructions just in case! Sometimes when I’m groggy, I can’t remember what to hit to turn the alarm fully off, which is more of a benefit than a hindrance to be honest.I’ve yet to use the Bluetooth speaker because I really only use my bedroom for sleep. But I have some laundry to put away tonight, so I’ll check it out.

Great for sunrise function!
Great sunrise alarm clock. Bought it for the sunrise function and am very satisfied with it especially after hunting around for quite a while. Unable to rate at 5 stars because the clock runs slightly fast. We’ve used it for a few months and now it’s 6 minutes ahead. That’s not a deal breaker but does mean I’ll have to reset it at some point to keep it from getting too far ahead.Really nice look and feel overall.
