This is cute. The night light is super bright compared to my last sound machine. I did not care for any of the sounds. The one I normally use with a sound machine is “fan” but this one has an awful metallic sound in it. I’m not sure if everyone would hear it, but it was the opposite of relaxing for me. Have to return.

I’ve been using my cell phone as my alarm clock for years, but really wanted a devoted alarm clock for my bedroom since I wanted to start turning off my cell phone at night. I am SO happy with this Vivilumens Sunrise Alarm Clock!!! It has so many functions and options to customize it to suit your preference.You definitely need to read through the manual to learn all the settings, and it’s worth taking the time to do so. Once you learn how to change the settings and what each of the buttons do, it’s easy to operate. I love the simple (and addictive) style of the snooze button. I also love the overall aesthetic of the clock, with the wood grain and natural bamboo-like colour. It looks fantastic on my nightstand. The size is perfect and there are just so many lighting and sound options. It’s like a sound machine and alarm clock all in one.I appreciate that it comes with a wall plug and not just a usb cord. I have ordered other cheaper alarm clocks for my kids that surprisingly came with either a usb-a or usb-c cord, but not the wall plug adapter, which is a pain if you don’t have an extra one, or have the updated outlets with usb connections. This has everything you need to just plug it into a regular wall outlet.I saw another review mention that they wish it had an app to pair it with for adjusting the settings—but personally I am so glad that it doesn’t have an app to set it up!! I’m tired of having so many apps on my phone and prefer that everything is done right on the clock itself. This is obviously a personal preference.I love everything about this clock and would definitely recommend it!

I love the way it looks and it’s simple to use but there is no battery backup and it doesn’t self set. I have it now and have thrown the box out but ultimately I’m going to have to set a phone alarm as a backup. A little disappointed

I grabbed this sunrise rise clock because we had just recently got one that was similar for my daughter and we really love the design and function and wanted one for ourselves. This one is almost the same, but it looks so much better with the wood grain. We love it in our bedroom.One thing, you will need to read the manual to set the clock and alarm functions. It’s a little tricky but once you get the hang of how things work on the clock you’ll have no trouble customizing it and using all the features.One nitpick, because we have my daughter’s clock to compare it to, that one has a companion app that allows you to set all the functions and it’s a little easier to understand and use when there’s an app attached to the clock. This one doesn’t have that so everything you do with it will be done manually by hand. It’s fine, but I would have rather if there was an app to help it along.Functionally the light and sound are excellent. I love the variety of sounds well as as the colour of the sunrise. That’s the light setting I leave it on. I don’t use the other LED light colors. I just use the sunset sunrise orange. I love it.Overall, if you’re looking for a sunrise clock, something that can wake you up gently or aggressively depending on what you prefer, you can’t go wrong with this one. The wood grain is absolutely beautiful and sets it apart from others in this category. We just love it in our bedroom. Five stars from me.
