I picked this up to help with breathing exercises and clearing out that heavy feeling in my chest, especially during times when I feel more congested. It is simple to use once you get the hang of it. You breathe into it and it creates a vibration that you can actually feel in your chest, which seems to help loosen things up.The resistance adjustment is useful because I did not want something that felt too strong right away. I started on a lower setting and worked up gradually. It makes a difference being able to control that instead of it being one fixed level. After a few uses, it became part of a quick routine rather than something I had to think about.It is lightweight and easy to hold, and I like that I can take it apart to clean it. That was important to me since it is something you are breathing through regularly. It does not take up much space either, so it is easy to keep nearby.I noticed after using it consistently that it helps bring things up instead of just sitting there. It is not instant, but over time it feels like it is doing something. It is one of those simple tools that fits into a routine without being complicated or time consuming.

Good device, works well!
I have been very pleased with this flutter valve device that my pulmonologist recommended. I had not used one before and the instructions were clear and easy to follow. It is a sturdy device and works well, it comes apart easily for cleaning.

Small device but works well for breathing practice
This ended up being one of those small things I didn’t expect much from, but I actually use it pretty regularly now. It’s very simple to use, just breathe through it and adjust the resistance, but you can definitely feel your lungs working a bit more, especially if you stick with it for a few minutes. The build quality is pretty basic, but it’s lightweight and easy to carry around.What I like is that it gives some feedback while you’re using it, so you’re not just guessing if you’re doing it right. It feels more like a guided exercise instead of just breathing in and out. I’ve mostly been using it after workouts or on days when my breathing feels a little tight, and it does seem to help me slow things down and take deeper breaths.

The product is well constructed. This is not a flimsy device. Easily cleaned . The exercise is very simple but it is effective . After using the device my normally quiet voice is stronger . The device is pricey but effective .

A great help for stuck mucus!
If you have COPD or lung congestion this is the help you need. Thick mucus is quickly loosen to cough up after a couple or more of blows. My husband has used this for years. The vibration of the balls set up a vibration in your chest to loosen the mucus.
