This is how you use it
Before buying this product or one similar, I saw a lot of reviews talking about how confusing the instructions are. The youtube videos are even worse because there is zero technical guidance on how to adjust the device. So I hope the following helps. This is a two way device that assists in training your lungs in IMT (inhalation function) and PEP (exhalation function). The device is labeled PEP on one side, IMT on the other, with a spring pressure adjustment ring (white) in the center. PEP is the side closest to the mouth piece. There is a red ring on each side that shows the pressure setting. The farther away the red ring is from the center, the higher the pressure. To adjust either side, hold the center white ring and rotate the clear plastic section of the side you want. You should see the red ring rise or fall. If you are only training IMT, set PEP to the lowest setting and vise versa. If you want to train both, adjust both sides up. In my case, I need to train IMT (inhalation), so I set PEP to zero and start IMT at 20 and will gradually work my way up. So when I inhale I feel resistance but when I exhale I feel nothing. I hope this helps.

Habe dieses Produkt zur Atemphysiotherapie für einen PCD + Bronchiektasie Patient gekauft. Nach dem ersten Mal im oberen Korb des Philips Avent Vaporisators hat sich der mittlere Ring, auf dem BIG geschrieben ist, derart verformt, dass der Atemtrainer unbrauchbar ist. Er lässt sich nicht mehr zusamenbauen. Was für ein Müll. Und das für 60€. Am besten ist es wohl, man bleibt beim Marktführer.

Muy buen producto, excelente opción para no comprar por separado los ejercitadores (IMT y PEP) Me gusto que vino en su case rígido, con las piezas de contacto en bolsas separadas para tener mayor higiene y con instructivos de uso y ensamblaje, aunque lo mejor siempre es consultar con un profesional sobre el uso de estos productos.Llegó en tiempo y forma y con un buen empaquetado
