I have been cold plunging for almost a year now. I’ve done it in my inside bathtub and I have a cold plunge tub outside on my deck. I switch back and forth depending on the weather (if it is completely frozen outside then I’m inside) so unless the temperatures outside are just between 33-50 deg F, and always inside, I need ice to get the water down to a low enough temperature to do good against inflammation. I’ve used “blue ice” packs and I’ve used frozen milk jugs. The blue ice packs don’t hold the cold very long and I’ve had trouble with the jugs cracking over repeated use and leaking in my freezer. My son has something similar to these bags and that inspired me to order them when I saw them. I’ve been using them for a couple of weeks now and very pleased with the results. The large 5 L size makes it better than a milk jug and the carry handle is comfortable if I need to take it up and down stairs. The fact that it is a bag makes it convenient to fit into the freezer. So far these have been durable and show no signs of wear. Given that this comes in a 5 pack, I think I’ll have spares for a long time, I’ve had 2 in rotation and they still look like new. This is way more economical by the way than the big blue ice blocks that don’t work as well. Glad I ordered them.

Great idea and execution
I stumbled across these and they have been perfect for my ice bath and even ice for the cooler on long trips. I love how easy they are to fill as the opening is large enough to fit a standard garden hose. The design is well thought out, they can stand on their own while filling and transporting. The creator even added a very useful handle that allows one handed filling! The material seems durable and has withstood several freeze thaw cycles. Each bag is 5 liters or a little over one gallon which is approximately a 12lb block of ice. Overall I am happy with my purchase and expect a long lifespan out of these ice bags.

Coolest thing I didn’t know I needed
This product is genius. I am always forgetting to pick up ice for my cooler and now I don’t have to I am keeping food and drinks cold. Of course if you need ice to put in glasses you’ll still need to go the regular route.The bags came in a four pack. They each measure 12” x 13.6” and hold five liters of water. The plastic is very heavy so I think they will hold up quite a while. I froze one that I filled about three fourths of the way to allow for expansion and put it in my styrofoam cooler along with a 12 pack of room temp soda. I left it over night in the kitchen. This morning my sodas were very cold and the bags came was still partially frozen. I love these and certainly recommend them!

Fantastic ice bath bags.
I thought these packs were going to be small like what usually sold in the market. Boy was I wrong. These things are HUGE. One bag is enough to keep the water of your pool or tub cold for ice plunging soaks. These XMPTPK 4 pk ice bath bags are awesome. They are made of quality material and very durable. I love the handle. Makes it easy to carry around. Had no leak issues, and hope that continues. Really impressed with the size of these bags. Definitely a great value for your money.

I’ve been using just one of these ice bath bags at a time, and it keeps the water really cold for my plunge sessions. I don’t have enough freezer space for all four at once, so being able to use one bag is perfect for me. It takes about 24 hours to freeze completely, which is something to keep in mind if you want it ready for a session.
