Favorite Nightlight
These are fantastic. The color temp is very warm and pleasant, the plastic is frosted so there’s no harsh light, and the eclipse design (with the center blacked out) is awesome. These illuminate the area without shining directly into your eyes. The dusk-to-dawn feature works well; I wish they had a switched option, too. We went back for more of these so that we can keep a couple in our suitcases. (Well, and then take them out of our suitcases…)

The blue light makes a better night light. It softly makes everything brighter and is nice to look at.

Soft, Warm Light That’s Easy on the Eyes
I’m so glad I found these amber night lights—they’re exactly what I needed for both comfort and sleep quality. The blue light blocking feature makes a huge difference at night; instead of harsh white or cool-toned light, the amber glow is soft, warm, and soothing. It’s bright enough to safely light hallways, bathrooms, and bedrooms, but not so strong that it disrupts sleep.The dusk-to-dawn sensor works flawlessly. It automatically turns on when the room gets dark and shuts off in the morning, which means I don’t have to think about it at all. It’s energy-efficient and hassle-free. I also appreciate how compact the design is.Durability seems great so far, and I love that I can leave them plugged in without worrying about heat or safety. These are ideal for kids’ rooms, nurseries, or anywhere you want a soft guiding light at night.

Higher Quality than expected for the price
I bought these because we have white motion sensing white led nightlights that completely destroy my night vision when I take late night walks to the kitchen for water.I installed one of these in the kitchen and one in the bathroom. I opted for Amber after reading that intensity of light, not the color, degrades night-vision. And that Amber light can help the eye perceive more detail than red light at lower brightness levels.I tested the light sensors with our kitchen lights which fade and was surprised to see that the light sensing function is WAY smarter than expected for a 6$ nightlight. The light doesn’t just come on/off given a specific lux, it actually fades in, and chooses a brightness based on a range of lux.This means if your room is slightly bright, it will light up dimmer than if the room was dark. It was kind of fun playing with the kitchen lights and seeing just how high of a resolution the nightlight has in brightness steps.In regards to brightness, the light is just bright enough that it illuminates the entire kitchen in a greyscale glow, just bright enough to fill a cup of water and preserve your nightvision.With this said, looking in close proximity to the nightlight did hurt my night vision a little bit. However this was not so bad that I could not find myself back to my bed through my pitch dark bedroom.With all this said I am extremely satisfied with the level of brightness these nightlights put out, very satisfied with the functionality of the light sensors and very satisfied with the fit and finish of the product.Contrary to other reviews, my device did NOT have motion detection, nor did it have a switch to set it to manual on, instead of light sensitive mode. However these were not features I was looking for in the nightlights so they do not affect my review.I will definitely be buying 2-4 more of these nightlights and putting them throughout the house.
