Compact A15 Bulb, E26/E27 Base – Fits Every Fixture Instantly
While A19 is the most common size, many smaller fixtures miss the chance to use red light for better sleep. The compact A15 unlocks more placements—bringing gentle, sleep-friendly red light to bedside, wall, and pendant lamps. Choose A15 to enjoy better sleep anywhere, with a perfect fit.
Real 670nm Red Light Bulb: Brighter, Flicker-Free & Sleep-Optimized
Choose real 670nm—not painted red bulbs. Get true sleep support with zero blue light, stable flicker-free lighting that protects your eyes, and 700 lumens bright enough for reading. Lab-tested performance, higher color quality, and energy-saving design—built for comfort, not compromise.
Does it help with insomnia?
Yes—670nm red light supports better sleep without medication. Unlike blue or white light, it doesn’t suppress melatonin, helping your body unwind before bed. It creates a calm environment that may help you fall asleep faster and sleep comfortably.
Can it be used in a child’s bedroom?
Yes—red light is gentle and sleep-friendly for children. It’s the least disruptive to sleep cycles, helping babies stay drowsy during feeds or diaper changes. It keeps nighttime calm, making it easier to fall back asleep quickly.
Can it be used in any lamp?
It fits any standard E26/E27 socket, thanks to its compact A15 size—about 20% smaller than A19 for better compatibility with more fixtures. Note: this bulb is non-dimmable and should not be used with dimmer switches.
Why choose 670nm over 625nm, 630nm, and how does this 2-pack offer better value?
670nm is closer to the ideal red wavelength for sleep support, promoting relaxation better than 630nm. Our bulbs are tested and verified for true 670nm output. This 2-pack delivers the same performance at a lower cost—better value without compromise.
Why isn’t the bulb red-colored? Did I receive the wrong item?
No, you received the correct bulb. It uses a white cover to maximize 670nm red light output. Unlike painted red bulbs, this design delivers purer, more efficient red light, ensuring better performance and a more effective sleep-friendly experience.
🌙 Sleep‑Friendly 670nm Deep Red: Red light bulb uses a targeted 670nm deep‑red spectrum (deeper than many 625–630nm “red” bulbs) for a richer, sunset‑like glow—ideal for winding down at night, especially for light‑sensitive or irregular‑schedule sleepers.
🚫🔵🟢 100% Blue & Green Light Blocking: Uses a custom 670nm deep‑red LED chip (not coated) to deliver pure 670nm red light with zero blue/green spill—ideal for late‑night routines, nursing, or checking on kids without disrupting your circadian rhythm or your body’s natural evening melatonin.
📚✨ Bright Yet Gentle (7W = 60W Equivalent): Comfortable visibility without harsh glare for reading or getting ready for bed. Works as red light bulbs and blue light blocking light bulbs; costs as low as $1.02/year (3 hrs/day, $0.11/kWh).
🔩💡 Compact A15, E26/E27 Base: The sleep light bulb smaller than an A19 bulb, the A15 shape is a better fit for small lamps, compact shades, and tight fixtures—broader compatibility where A19 may feel too large. Measures 88mm (H) × 50mm (W); perfect for narrow bedside lamps, wall sconces, and reading‑nook fixtures. Installs in seconds—just screw into any standard E26/E27 socket and use it immediately.
⚡✅🕯🎁 Instant-On, Easy Gift Choice: Installs in seconds and gives smooth, steady red light instantly—flicker-free, gentle on the eyes, and never harsh at night. Simple and intuitive to use (even for seniors), beautifully packaged, and a genuinely thoughtful gift for parents, friends, or anyone dealing with insomnia—bringing a calmer, more sleep‑friendly nighttime routine from day one.

Warm and relaxed in the red light
I started using this red light mainly because I wanted something softer for my bedroom at night, and it turned out to be exactly what I needed. The light has a warm, soft glow that doesn’t include any blue light, so my eyes feel relaxed even if I turn it on right before going to sleep. The installation took almost no effort since it uses a standard connector, and it fit right into my lamp without any adjustments. Once it’s on, the room feels calm and cozy, and the color makes it easier for me to wind down after a long day.I also like that when I get up in the middle of the night, the brightness is gentle enough that it doesn’t wake me up fully or feel harsh. For something so simple, it’s made my nighttime a lot more comfortable.

Great for the nursery and stumbling around at night without getting more awake
These 7W 670nm Red Light Bulbs for Sleep, 100% Blue Light Blocking Bulb, Red Light Night Light for Melatonin Promoting, A15 60W Equivalent Dim Light Bulbs for Bedroom, Baby Nursery, Reading, 2 Pack are handy. They have two bulbs in the one box (that looks like it was made to hold one bigger bulb). They fit into standard light sockets easily. While they are bright enough to see by, they don’t tend to make my body feel more awake when I have to do things for my baby in the middle of the night. They seem like they are good quality and I expect them to last a while. I will update this if they don’t, but for now, I’m pleased.Note: these are not for red light therapy. Just to help keep your night vision and avoid triggering the blue light receptors in your eyes.

Great red lightbulbs for new parents
I got these just in time for our baby. I replaced the bulbs in some of the bedroom lamps with these, and it’s been great. I can see well enough, but they don’t wake us or the baby up as much as typical lightbulbs. They’ve been on non-stop for days at times with no issues, so they seem to be good quality LED bulbs. They’re a great value for the money, too. The color is as expected.

Soft red lighting for bedtime
I am always looking for low or no blue lights. We have both orange colored ones as well as red – and these are great! It really helps sleep quality and quantity to turn these on in the evening. These red light bulbs create a very soft, warm glow that works well for my intended purpose – for nighttime lighting. The red tone is much gentler than regular white bulbs and helps keep the room dim without feeling completely dark. They’re especially useful in bedrooms or anywhere you want light without the harsh brightness of standard bulbs. We put them in the living room as well. Installation was simple—just screw them into a regular socket. The light output is subtle but still enough to move around the room comfortably. Overall, a good option if you’re looking for low-light bulbs for evening or nighttime use!

Soft and calming atmosphere
I like using this red light in my bedroom, and it gives off a gentle glow that isn’t harsh at all. The color and brightness feel very soothing, especially before bedtime, and it helps me settle down and relax. When I get up at night, the light is soft enough that it doesn’t hurt my eyes or feel too bright. So far, the overall tone and brightness have been just right for creating a calm environment, and it’s been a nice addition to my nighttime routine.

Interesting red light bulbs with good value, but efficacy is hard to verify
These red light bulbs are an interesting option, especially since there is some evidence supporting red light exposure for sleep and melatonin support. While they don’t make broad therapeutic claims beyond that, they may appeal to those curious about potential benefits like skin or hair support, though that’s harder to evaluate. The listing provides a spectral graph showing a peak around 670 nm, which is a commonly referenced wavelength for red light applications. However, without actual irradiance measurements or verified spectrometer readings, it’s difficult to fully confirm output or effectiveness. The brightness also suggests there are likely additional visible red/orange wavelengths (around 620–640 nm) contributing to the light, since a pure 670 nm source would appear much dimmer. From a practical standpoint, they function well as red ambient lighting and are usable for everyday purposes. Getting two bulbs in the pack adds good value, and overall build and usability seem solid. As with most red light products, true therapeutic effectiveness is hard to verify without specialized tools, but for the price, these are a reasonable option to try out if you’re interested in this type of lighting.

These are an excellent way to achieve a healthier lifestyle. Why? Because good sleep is critical to overall good health, and these allow you to get a better night’s sleep. They do this by replacing standard white lights and by countering the effects of so much blue light from our devices and screens.I put one in my bedroom as an overhead general light and the other on my nightstand as a task light. As the evening comes, I exclusively use these two lights and it tricks my brain into thinking it’s the waning, setting sun… with nightfall approaching… and this primes my body for sleep by releasing melatonin. I prefer this over taking melatonin supplements, as I would rather reduce my dependency on pills of any kind.I find the lights soothing and relaxing. They are soft and not harsh, and provide enough light to see but still give the sense is that it’s nighttime. The other benefit is that they preserve my night vision. I once read that in World War 2, British pilots used red light in their barracks so that if they suddenly had to sortie in their Spitfires, their night vision would remain preserved. Also, many modern camping lanterns, headlamps and flashlights have a red light function for this same reason. So it makes sense to incorporate this same thinking into my nighttime routine, to help prepare me for sleep. It really works, as I’ve been sleeping better ever since I started using these bulbs. I don’t think it’s placebo effect. I will get more of these for my family members, now that my own test run was successful. If you are wishing for a better night’s sleep, then I would recommend them.

These bulbs are just what I was looking for. They are indeed a soothing red, not orange. The opaque case contributes to its soothing light, compared to a glass bulb where I can see the filament inside. They aren’t too bright; they are 60W equivalent and I can look at them. That was the disadvantage of many red light therapy lights I found: they were so bright that I had to wear eye protection, covering up areas that I wanted the red light for. The base is E26. Each bulb is 8.5 cm long and 4.7 cm in diameter. They are small and fit easily into many sockets. I tested both bulbs, and both work.I tried to photograph a bulb with two cameras, but neither worked properly. They made the bulb look white, yellow, or orange. I posted the best photo I could, which at least shows the bulb illuminating the surrounding area in red. The bulb color doesn’t show on camera, but it is red.I got into red light therapy because of a traumatic brain injury caused by severe sleep deprivation. I’ve had problems with fatigue and poor health since. Two and a half years ago I did a lot of red light therapy and I feel better. Some days lately haven’t been as good, and I need to get back into it. I’m happy to have found a light that I can shine directly on my face where it’s most needed, and I think it will help me feel better still. Mark Sloan’s book, Red Light Therapy, analyzed scientific studies, and he found that the red wavelengths most efficiently absorbed by the body are 620 and 670nm. The product page claims that these bulbs emit 670nm, and I’m glad to have found light bulbs that emit efficient wavelengths of red.Edit (Mar. 29, 2026): Adding a note that these bulbs don’t get hot. I can touch one and not feel heat.

I got these bulbs specifically for evening use, when the goal is not to brightly light up a room but to help wind down and get ready for sleep. In that role they make a lot of sense. One thing to know right away is that these bulbs are smaller than a standard household bulb and they are also fairly dim. That might surprise some people at first, especially when they see the 60W equivalent wording, but red light does not look nearly as bright as white light at the same nominal rating. In my opinion that is actually how these are supposed to be.The whole point of a bulb like this is to create a softer, low-stimulation environment in the evening rather than blast the room with light. For a bedroom, nursery or nighttime reading where you just want enough light without making things feel harsh, these seem well suited. With that said, it may take a bit of time for you to adjust to be able to read in the red light but it really helps with falling asleep. It also counteracts the bright phone screens really well.Overall, these are a good option if you specifically want dim red lighting to help your evening routine. Just do not expect the brightness of a normal white bulb, because that would defeat the purpose.

I can see the benefit of using these bulbs to reduce exposure to blue or harsh white light in the evening, and the 670nm red output creates a distinct, calming ambiance. The light intensity is on the lower side, though. While I can still read and make out text without much difficulty, it feels more fatiguing compared to using standard bulbs, likely due to the reduced luminance. They may work well for mood lighting or as a decorative element, depending on the setting and expectations. That said, the biggest drawback for me is that these bulbs are not dimmable. I need them to be so I can use them on our bedside lamps, so this limits the usability in our house. As long as that’s not an issue, it might be worth it for others, but they’re not for me.

I love coloured lights, they can add atmosphere and create a mood in my home. This pair of 7 Watt red light bulbs is bright red, and perfect for night time. The bulbs are strong enough to illuminate things around you, and the brightness is soft on the eyes. The bulb has a deep red hue (670nm ), and lightens everything in the vicinity with calming red light. The bulb itself is smaller than normal regular bulbs. Even though the bulb is smaller, the socket is the same size as a standard screw-on bulb. The wattage is also small, drawing 7 Watts, this bulb will not overheat, and it will save on energy consumption. It is important to know, these bulbs are not dimmable.Overall I am very happy with these red light bulbs. I like to use one bulb on my nightstand table, and the other bulb I use in my washroom. The fixture inside my washroom has two light sockets, so I like to turn on the red bulb as a night light. I wish the bulb was dimmable, however I still like them very much.
