Easy to use and maintain breathing trainer
This breathing trainer is effective in providing warm stream for training my lungs. The warm steam allows my lungs to relax while the resistance setting on the breathing device exercises my lungs. The instructions that come with this device provides an initial training plan. It has helped slowly develop my lung to breathe better with the exercise that this breathing trainer provides. This device is very easy to clean, just fill the device to the appropriate water level and then press the clean button and the device runs the cycle without my involvement. Just perfect in my book. This device is handy to use because all you have to do is to heat the water and then take it off the base, I place the device on my kitchen table and sit to perform my breathing exercises. Overall this device is nicely designed to be easy to use and to maintain, plus it is the right sized device that I can easily do my breathing training where I want without being tied to power cords or anything that can be a roadblock to doing my breathing exercises.

A hassle to use. You have to be really dedicated to using it putting it together, going through the motions of doing it. I feel like that’s important to state because it’s not easy. It’s a big bulky device bigger than it looks in the picture. And it’s just a lot of effort to use and just inconvenient. And I cannot tell if it’s actually helping or working. I think if you’re specifically looking for this product and you’re like dedicated to using it this one Is decent. But I casually was like I would really like to breathe better when working out, going on my long power walks, and particularly with swimming I got this particularly for swimming purposes. And I just don’t really notice a difference and it’s just a really big hassle and I regret this purchase.

This Well02 Breathing Trainer with Warm Steam is amazing!I have to start by saying that you need to be patient with this product as there is a lot to learn on the use in the beginning, and also patience on obtaining results. Make sure to read the instructions and even can go online to read more and watch videos.I like how it has a cleaning option for the machine and equipment as this is where I started. After the cleaning I went on to try the steam with the highest heat setting. After heating up the water I took the WellO2 off the base and completed some breathing repetitions at the lowest resistance with one of the mouth pieces.It was amazing! You can feel the steam running through your mouth and to your lungs. I felt my lungs were expanding better and well due to the steam. I will say to be very precautious as I started on the highest heat setting and can easily tell that it can get very hot and couldn’t complete the breathing exercise with deep breaths as it was really hot. I should have started at the lowest setting to get my body use to it, nevertheless this was my fault and had nothing to do with the performance of the product. The resistance can really be felt when you start to increase the amount. It works without having to place it on the exact numbers so you can increase it little by little as to how you prefer and you can feel how it is harder to breathe and exercise your lungs.The part I really loved as well was the tube that came with it to breathe through and perform the repetitions. It really helped so you would sit comfortably and wouldn’t have to place your mouth close to the device. The product came with 3 mouth pieces and also a nasal mask. Personally I didn’t really use the nasal mask as it was difficult for me but I can still say that it works, and preferred the other options.Another side note for this is that when sick, having sore throat, or stuffy nose, the steam is perfect to help soothe your airways and even loosen up mucus with the hot steam!Honestly this was an amazing product that if you are dedicated to and willing to put the work, you are really going to notice the difference in your breathing and strengthening your lungs. It takes patience as mentioned earlier and time doing it consistently, but can show promising results! I would highly recommend if your healthcare provider approves and I would definitely repurchase and would purchase for family members who need this. 5 star for sure!

Functional, well made, and easy to use! Beware for those with gag reflex!
The WellO2 Breathing Trainer in my opinion does what it says it will do which is allow you to produce steam and has multiple ways of receiving that steamy air. The first option is the regular clear nozzle and the second option I tried was the mask type part which attaches to the clear nozzle. I’ve been fighting a sinus/upper respiratory cold lately, and was hoping this would be my solution to getting some of the mucus free and allow me to recover quicker.Unfortunately, I’m just not the right person for this because I have a bad gag reflex, and I couldn’t get over breathing through either the nozzle or the mask for any type of extended length of time. I did breathe in long enough to feel the steamy warm air entering my throat, but I couldn’t hang on long enough for any sort of helpful effect to happen. I once tried snorkeling, which I think this would be similar to, and couldn’t get past that either.The device is really easy to use, is ready quick, and feels well made and should last for many uses. Cleaning is easy with how easy the assembly is, just reverse the process. I let it air dry. The size and weight is friendly for any adult and I feel like as long as you don’t have a bad gag reflex, this should be a great device to use. At the MSRP of $250, I feel like that may be a bit high for the simplistic function of the unit since you yourself have to blow in and make the steam, but, as of the review it’s about 30% off which I feel is a more reasonable price.
