They’re very bright so depending on your needs you might want a lower wattage. We put one in the range hood so if we need to be in the kitchen we don’t have to turn on the lights and it’s perfect. I also used one for a reading light and it’s a little bright but it’s what I ordered.

I love these lights. I am using them to help with my sleep routine. Near sunset I switch to using these amber lights. I wasn’t sure I would enjoy the light, but it gives everything a comforting, homey golden glow like a lot of candles or a fireplace would give. I will definitely purchase these again.

It’s like a really bright mustard color, not soothing
As someone who suffers from chronic migraines and photophobia I was really hoping that these bulbs would be kind on my eyeballs, but they’re not. The bulbs are not gentle and are an obnoxious yellow color.
