Just like the polar hrm strap but 100 dollars cheaper.
I used to have a polar heart rate strap and watch about 10 years ago and it’s been dead. I was looking for something similar and my AI recommended this product. First of all, it’s amazing and works VERY well. Like you wet the conductor then strap it and you’ll hear two beeps and it’ll be green. Then you just launch your fitness app (polar beat works with this one!) and immediate pairing and tracking. Very comfortable to wear. Water proof. Extremely accurate heart rate! I’m so pleased I was able to get this strap! Most of the watch heart rate trackers arent reliable or struggle when too wet but not this one! Very impressed! Also it’s very compatible to many different apps but I’m using the polar beat app with great success. Also the strap is highly adjustable.

    I am obsessed!
WOW, the CooSpo H808S Heart Rate Monitor is absolutely incredible! I’m not even exaggerating—this thing is next-level if you’re serious about tracking your heart rate during workouts. First off, let’s talk about the accuracy—we’re talking ±1 BPM! That’s insanely precise for a chest strap monitor. Whether I’m sprinting, cycling, or just doing yoga, I know I’m getting real-time data that I can actually trust. This is a game-changer for anyone serious about training. 💪💥The dual-mode connection is just pure genius. It uses both Bluetooth 4.0 and ANT+, so I can connect to pretty much everything! My sports watch, bike computer, and even my favorite apps like Strava and Peloton—it syncs up effortlessly. No more fumbling with different devices or worrying about compatibility issues. I love that I can switch between all my devices and still get seamless tracking.Speaking of apps, this bad boy connects to all the big ones: Peloton, Zwift, Strava, Polar Beat… the list goes on! So, whether I’m on the Peloton bike or doing a virtual run with Zwift, it’s got my back (or chest, technically 😂). The LED light and beep reminders are such a cool feature too! The blue and green lights let me know instantly when I’m connected or not, so I’m never left guessing if the monitor is working. And the comfort! I’ve tried other chest straps before, and some of them feel like I’m being squeezed by a boa constrictor—NOT fun. But this one? So soft and adjustable! It fits perfectly and stays put even during intense rides or HIIT sessions. No slipping or awkward adjustments mid-workout. You can adjust it from 65 to 95cm, so it’s super versatile for different body types.Plus, it’s compatible with gym equipment like Nordic treadmills and Bowflex machines, so whether I’m at the gym or at home, it integrates into my workout flawlessly. In short, the CooSpo H808S isn’t just a heart rate monitor—it’s a total upgrade to your training routine. Accurate, comfortable, and super easy to use with tons of devices and apps. I’m obsessed!

Battery Life is the downfall of this device
I’ve had another lower tier coospoo heart rate strap for 4 or 5 years and that one has been flawless, although it does look a little bulky. So when my 349023th Wahoo HR strap failed I decided to go back to my old favorite, CooSpoo, and try this!At first glance, it’s perfect! Looks cool, works perfectly, gives you an audible beep when ever you put it on or take it off, it’s accurate, no dropouts.. it’s pretty great! At least that’s what I thought, but the unit is so friggin sensitive that it often still thinks its on your body and therefor keeps draining battery long after you’ve taken it off. So, it might kill the battery in a day or two if you’re not careful. I did eventually wise up to the fact that I needed to disconnect the actual electronic bit at one of the snap points when not in use… but dare I forget to do this once then I should expect a dead device next time I put it on.This has been so frustrating that I ripped the HR strap off and threw it in a bush on a ride yesterday. I went back 12 hours later with hopes of picking it back up… but it was gone and I can’t say I’m too bummed about it. I’m rating this as 1 star because I cannot ignore the fact that this thing keeps chewing battery life for hours after you take the thing off. I want to like CooSpoo and I may try them for other products in the future, but this HR is a no go from me.

Good as wahoo/garmin/polar, but better value for money
The name brands spend more on marketing and paying elite athletes, which increases the perception of quality/performance. Brands like coospo fly under the radar, but you get pretty much the same product. Keep in mind, HR monitors have been around a long time, this ain’t cutting edge tech, thus you don’t need to be paying $100 for something so simple.I’ve paired it with my Garmin Edge 520 and Fenix 5x, both work fine (using ANT+ connection). I noticed that both the 520 and 5x can connect to the HRM simultaneously via ANT+. Somewhat nitpicky thing: I did notice some dropouts with the 5x. The connection to the 520 was 100% solid. The dropouts lasted no more than 6 seconds and occurred roughly 1-2 times every 10 minutes. A 6 second dropout isn’t significant/long enough to affect my workouts, which is to monitor and analyze HR. HR doesn’t fluctuate enough over a 6 second period to obscure trends when I review the workout. It’s probably the Fenix 5x’s fault (lesser antenna, movement while running). Again, I had no dropouts with the 520.As for the design of the HRM, I love it. It just looks high tech with its jagged lines and its circular blue/green LED. The added LED/beeping is a nice touch that my last HRM didn’t have (a garmin). The strap felt softer and thicker than my garmin strap. Another WIN OVER GARMIN: the battery cover can be removed with a coin or even your fingers. My last garmin HRM used tiny black screws (PH000) to secure the battery cover. These screws always get stripped even if you’re careful, rendering the device close to useless. As I understand, a lot of garmin HRMs use the tiny screws for the battery compartment.Remember: wash your strap by hand and remove the pod from the strap when not in use.
