Great for Eye Surgery Recovery!
I got this to use after eye surgery that required me to be in a chin-to-chest position during the day and to sleep either on my right side or face down. This pillow is fabulous for all of that. It’s bendable, so I use it during the day to rest my neck and also at night to take pressure off my ear while I’m sleeping. I even bend it into a u-shape to help with face down sleeping. It’s thin, so it doesn’t bunch up and get in the way of my nose or put pressure on my eye. It’s got just the right softness/firmness ratio to provide both support and comfort.

The core really adds something to it.
The foam itself… it is memory foam, but it doesn’t remember much. But that’s fine. It’s still very comfortable foam.You’ll probably mostly use it in a U-shape. I do. And that may make the malleable shape seem like a gimmick, but it’s not a gimmick. It’s very good. The fact that it holds its shape adds a lot for the support of the pillow, much like what you’re hoping a large premium memory foam pillow will do. Once it’s behind my head, I press my head into “the spot” to make the armature form to hug my head how I want it. What that spot is, will be slightly different for each person. You’ll notice that it still makes a U shape, but with some small differences that are important. Your variant on the U will probably be different from mine, depending on where on your head you place it. And even if used just as the classic U, the armature adds some much-needed support that other travel pillows don’t have.I have to use it unfastened, or else I can’t get it into the spot that I want. I really wish it was longer; part of the support, at least in how I use it, comes from the shoulders, and it needs more length to utilize that to the fullest potential.I’m glad I saw another of the reviews with images. Kudos to them for warning us that it could break easily. Better not twist it, or bend it too sharply. I notice that the outer surface of the foam gets pulled very tight when the core is bent. That’s not a good thing. Hopefully, with some extra care, it will last a good long time.Cutting a sausage comes to mind. When you bend a sausage, bends a little, until the tension overcomes the case, and it splits into two pieces. But if you put many shallow cuts into the sausage, then you can bend it quite a lot without it breaking. Perhaps some day, I’ll get a second one, and try putting some shallow cuts in the foam to see if that prevents the foam from snapping apart. Maybe they’ll even sell one like that, by the time I come back for another.My experience with the kind of foam that’s inside of it, is that you shouldn’t expose it to heat and you should keep it away from chemicals. And of course, keep it away from moisture and dirt, because the foam is porous and will trap it inside to become a bio hazard.Little ball joint armatures… assuming that’s what this uses, will tend to wear out and get loose after a few years. So, that’s another reason to be nice to it.If it doesn’t break or wear out too fast, then this may be my pillow of choice for the rest of my life. Unless they make a longer one. Then, I’ll buy that one every time I need a new one, and I’ll be happy about it.I’m happy that I bought this pillow.

Good for travel. Flexibility and shaping helpful. A bit bulky but ability to twist and shape it however you want is helpful.

First travel pillow that’s actually comfy!
This pillow was an absolute life saver on my 14 hour flight from the United States to Australia. In my however many years of flying, this was the first time I actually felt like my travel pillow actually made flying significantly better.I never used it wrapped around my neck like a typical travel pillow, but because it’s so flexible, I used it in so many different positions to keep comfy. I had a window seat so I leaned on it folded up against the window (and it was nice because the u-shape provided extra space to not squish my ear), I unfolded it so it was straight line and hugged it like a body pillow and rested my head on the top, I folded & lodged it between my partner & I (who was in the middle seat) so it created comfy leverage between the two of us. The inner wire is sturdy enough to keep the pillow in place, but the surrounding plush makes it squishy enough to be comfortable.I ended up using it outside of the plane on my trip too as a lumbar pillow to prop me up in bed, and as a regular pillow at one Airbnb with super flat pillows.My partner, with his $70 travel neck pillow that he can never get comfy with, was extremely jealous the whole time and bought his own right after we got back.Cannot recommend this enough!

I love this traveling pillow because it can be band in every direction, the cover can be easily taken off for washing and put back easily. It’s light, and small

I took a chance on this unusual neck pillow for travelling, and although it’s a little awkward to carry, it does support my neck on the plane as I can manipulate the pillow any way I want. Also, there is a snap so I can hang it on my luggage as I wheel it across the airport. This is a great pillow!
