Connecting Bluetooth/ Auto Time Sync
The first time the iBT32 is powered by pressing the POWER button, it will enter into Bluetooth pairing mode. This will cause “iHome iBT32” to appear in your device’s Bluetooth menu. Select “iHome iBT32” to connect your device to the iBT32. When pairing is successful, a voice prompt will announce “CONNECTED” and the Bluetooth icon will appear on the display indicating the iBT32 is ready to play music. Once connected, the time on the iBT32 will change to match the current time on the user’s device.
Manually Setting the Time
1. Press and hold the Time Set Button for 2 seconds to enter Time set process. Display flashes 12hr or 24hr. Press + or – Button to select between 12hr or 24hr time format. Press Time Set button to confirm your selection.
2. The Hour on the display flashes. Press + or – Button to adjust the hour. Press Time Set Button to confirm.
3. The Minute on the display flashes. Press + or – Button to adjust the minute. Press Time Set Button to confirm and exit the process.
– To pair Bluetooth manually refer to the section “Manually Pairing Your Bluetooth Device”.
– To turn off time sync: Press and hold the Time Set Button for 5 seconds until the display shows “OFF” and a beep tone sounds.
– To turn on time sync: Press and hold the Time Set Button for 5 seconds until the display shows “ON” and a beep tone sounds.
Manually Pairing via Bluetooth
1. Turn on your Bluetooth device and make it “discoverable” by turning on Bluetooth mode (check in Options or Settings).
2. Press and hold the Power button to power on the iBT32.
3. Press and release the Mode button as needed to put the iBT32 into Bluetooth mode.
“BT” will appear on the display.
4. Press and hold the Play/Pause/Bluetooth Pairing Button for 2 seconds. The iBT32 cabinet will flash blue, the Bluetooth icon will flash on the display, indicating the iBT32 is in pairing mode.
5. “iHome iBT32” should appear in your device’s Bluetooth menu. Select “iHome iBT32” to connect it.
6. When pairing is successful, a voice prompt will announce “CONNECTED”, the Bluetooth icon will appear solid, indicating the iBT32 is ready to play music.
Note: Once the iBT32 is paired to a device, when powered on and in Bluetooth mode, it will attempt to autolink when the device is within range.
Using FM Radio
Power on unit, press MODE button to select FM mode. Press + or – button to manually adjust FM frequency. Press and hold + and – buttons to seek next FM station.

Decent Sunrise Alarm Clock – Good Basics, But Some Limits
This sunrise alarm clock is okay for what it is. The light-based wake-up works decently, gradually brightening to help you wake more naturally. For the price, it’s a fine entry into sunrise-style alarms.What doesn’t quite hit the mark: the sound quality is just “okay” for a simple alarm – nowhere near good enough for music playback. Also, the fact that you can only set one alarm is a limitation; having separate alarms for weekdays/weekends would make it much more useful. Still, considering it’s cheaper than many sunrise clocks out there, it’s a reasonable budget option.

Feature-Packed, but Fiddly
Great for a gentle wake-up, but if you prefer to wake to music, shop around, as this unit’s FM and bluetooth settings are somewhat fiddly, and the radio antenna is not great. It does have internal sounds, and the sunrise feature is a definite plus, but it only has one alarm, so if you have multiple wake-up times (e.g. weekdays and weekends) then you will be resetting the alarm constantly. Setting time is easy, connect to bluetooth and it takes the correct time from your device’s network connection.

Fun but a Bit Lacking in Function
Back in the early days of iPhones these iHome clocks were quite the thing and I think these are coming back because everyone ditched their alarm clock but now want to know the time without finding their smart phone. I really like this color changing little iHome clock because it is just so fun with the colors changing! I like that this model includes a digital tuning FM radio but do not expect stereo sound because it’s a clock… with speakers… not a stereo. Like others I did have difficulty automatically syncing the close time to the phone time by Bluetooth… had to do it manually. Which isn’t a big deal breaker for the costs but until daylight savings time ends without syncing well then one will always need to set the time manually. It’s portable and cute and the changing color modes are fun but I’m at 4 ⭐️ mostly because of the time / synching issue.
